Basically, I’m going for a, more or less, Slanneshi Gregor Clegane. By that, I mean an 8 and a half foot tall titan of rippling muscle and steel. That also happens to be so unnaturally beautiful that it’s utterly terrifying. In short, I want to end up the butcher of Bleuria and the personal champion of the Crown.

My legendary weapon is a bow, about 8 feet in length, made of dragon bone, adamantium, with a draw weight at the near edge of my maximum lift (at minimum, 4k lbs, assuming the next tier of str goes up to x20), and capable of firing ballista bolts as if they were arrows. If possible, I’d also appreciate a few lightning enchantments on the piece too. After all, the GAU-12 won’t be invented for a while, so I’ll have to bring the thunder and lightning the old fashioned way.

With regards to my bow, its bolts should be approaching maximum arrow to bow efficiency and would be significantly more powerful than anything but modern cannons in terms of destructive power. In short, I could one shot a dragon, through its skull, and come out not-quite-clean.

Focusing on the stats, I did a bit of math. The human bodies maximum potential foot speed is ~40 mph, higher than the current world record by 12 mph, but still theoretically achievable. The CYOA states peak human efficiency as the base from which it is multiplied. With a str factor of 10, I argue that I can, at least in (relatively) short bursts, reach if not exceed speeds of 400 mph. Additionally, with the topped out agility, speeds of 800 mph, in the time of the doubled speed, are within the realm of possibility, on foot, without further enhancement. This ignores a possible doubling of those numbers based on the tier 4 str granted by the bow. In short, I can outrun tier 2 “wherever needed”.

Lifeforce and durability are self explanatory, though as an aside, I’d probably be able to react fast enough to deflect a cannon ball, even at point blank range. I chose the Intellect because becoming an organic supercomputer sounds like a hell of a good time. In all seriousness though, I figure I need to be smart enough to actually learn enough to be capable of actually helping run the kingdom and wage a war at the same time.

Master of the Wilds will let me, eventually, gain a wyvern mount. While I will go out of my way to search for a dragon to tame/hatch, I will settle for their smaller cousins. For a while, at least.

Arts of Arcana ties in with Jansen and I want to really, really double down on everything he has to teach, especially since I plan to do so much fighting, never mind Followed Through.

Aura of Seduction ties in with Seductive Form 2. When I’m in the middle of an enemy army, cutting down plebs left and right, I want everyone to stop and stare, mesmerized by the horror and the beauty of the scene. Because Sigvald is a basic bitch. I’ll also use this to slip through the nastier parts of Court. If they want my body or my loyalty, I can’t be dead, right?

Uncanny senses are for the obvious, I don’t want to die to a dagger in my back, and my boss is under constant threat of assassination. Obviously, I need to see them coming before I can break them.

Operational Leeway is for when I need to step on people and butcher enemy nobles. Mostly bad form, but this should let me do as I see fit.

The various educations and degrees are for the obvious purposes. I need to be able to actually contribute in an intellectual manner. As a side note, the intellect buffs should let me pick up the rest of the educations in a timely manner. And I want Inspiring Presence precisely because I plan to stay in the thick of it as much as I can.

OGANL is there because I want to 1) be subject to high justice 2) not be an actual hired pleb, cause then I can basically be arrested or killed without trial if its expedient 3) the benefit of having a small estate and a few titles, which I can build on, gives me an economic basis to start from, in addition to my standard pay 4) and finally, it gives me an option to actually marry Esther, minimizing the effects of Forbidden Love.

As for my party, Jansen is best wizard, from what I can tell, Corin is actually loyal to me first, given time, and Hesberg is obviously intended to start an industrial revolution. My only regret is that I couldn’t bring Delthak for that sweet industrial combo. Hopefully, I can still search out him and the other possible companions in universe. As I think the combination of my power, what wealth I could offer, and the potential for royal support could sway any of them I find.

Escort Mission should be pretty straightforward. I figure we’ll probably be cut off from the main army during a border skirmish. We make our path back, quietly, as long as we can. I’ll leverage my beauty to keep people quiet and for supplies, and once we hit the enemy’s main lines I’ll stay back and let loose with a barrage. I figure I’ll be able to pop enough officers’ heads that their plebs will break and run without too much effort. With that, we make our way back to the army, rally our forces, and launch a counter attack. A bit of vengeance, a bit of glory, and enough bloodshed to sate my lust.

Forbidden Love is a bit more difficult. I’ll keep it to courtly love for a while, at least until I reach the status of a legendary hero, and carry out my duties. Once I have the influence to not dishonor her with my courtship, I’ll make it official and public. Considering the sheer power I wield, I imagine I won’t take too long.

Unpopular opinion, likely relating to the Zeds coming out of the mines, is also easy to deal with. A few speeches, a few victorious battles, and the painful execution of any who make an attempt on her life ought to settle the disquiet.

Betrayal Most Foul is the hardest to counter, as the plot itself will be stopped easily enough. Just the fact of the betrayal is the worst part. The only thing I can do is be there for her and make sure she understands that I and mine will never turn upon her.

Dark Accusation is actually one of the most difficult to resolve, though I could actually embrace the accusation, snap a few paladin’s necks (gods know they should have brought more men), and simply let the fact that I’ve fought for the nation, won it victory after victory, and have remained a bastion of honor and chivalry off the battle field will deal with it. The fact that I’m also fighting actual monsters should probably reduce the number of people clamoring for my blood too.

Weakening Curse is, fortunately, not that difficult to resolve. I simply need to survive the 3 months. Corin is an infamous mercenary and I imagine he’ll have contacts in low places. It’s probably simple, if expensive and time consuming, for him to find the source of the poison/artifact. Once that’s found, I’ll have the man killed and his notes seized. It’s probably not going to be difficult to keep it hidden, or at least secret, and I’ll rely on Operational Leeway to keep the crown happy.

Primary Suspect is dangerous, though I think I’ll just go out of my way to find the actual source of the problem and then use my charisma and logic to force a trial and court to find me innocent. Add to that my record of studious effort and I think I’ll make it through.

Followed Through is, potentially, terrifying. Thankfully, I’ll have a heads up when it comes after me. My plan is simple. Lure it into an abandoned mine, filled with as much magic power as I can get my greedy, greedy hands on. I’ll make sure I have a way out and then blow the whole thing sky high. If this doesn’t kill it, I’ll have a battery of cannon, designed by Hesberg, more than ready to open fire and break it. If THAT doesn’t kill it, Jensen and as many mages as I can gather will be more than ready to open up and bring it down. To top it all off, I’ll keep up an unending barrage from my bow and keep whittling it down.

Civil wars aren't. That said, this will be for the better in the long run. What use do free men have for crowns? Stability and industry, especially in the rich kingdom of Ansanar. We will ensure that pay is fair, and that our coin is actually worth something to the other kingdoms.

With the 4 leadership gained from the ansanar challenge, I think I'll get myself a noble bloodline, since it seems like it could be useful at various points and none of the companions seem particularly geared towards helping with the challenge
