I'm not very good at this stuff either, but I have just a tiny bit of knowledge. What kind of foods are you eating? 1500 calories might not be a lot, but you should cut back on carbs and sugars. Stick to eating fruits, vegetables, and some proteins. I can't help too much with exercises (because its not like i work out enough). Just be sure to do cardio and some weights - you don't have to use anything big. Anyways, good luck!

It's not as easy as calories in calories out. If you're eating shit all the time your body is going to look like shit as well. Stop eating out at all fast food restaurants. Cut out sugar wherever you can. Eat whole foods and learn how to cook your own meals. Start looking up BUDGET recipes that are healthy for you. Eating healthy is not expensive if you are managing a budget and being a wise shopper. Eating out at shit tier cheap fast food restaurants is way more expensive over a week than your groceries list is going to be.

No more chips, no more energy drinks, no more sodas, no more McDonalds/Harveys/Wendys/etc, you dont get to treat yourself with a donut, you don't get an "I made it through the day chocolate bar" forget all of it. Get into a cardio routine, just youtube easy cardio tutorials. Youtube literally anything you're having trouble with if you dont understand how to do/make "whatever" it is. Most foods these days are literal garbage for you and you have to take an active role in avoiding them if you want to improve your health/shape and well being. Frozen dinners are not a healthy life choice anon, and yeah I made a lot of assumptions here but eting out like 4 times a week and then wondering why you aren't losing weight is very common for some reason. This may seem obvious, but you need to check the actual fat content of your food, as well as sugar/carbs like everyone else mentioned.

A common reason a lot of people have chub on their bellies instead of it just being flat is bc of water weight. If you eat a lot of salty foods and drink a lot then that's probably an issue for you too. There are pills that target water weight, just make sure to research any specific pills before buying. Also, you need to drink actual water often if you take those pills, especially if you exercise often or live in a hot area.

First things first, you absolutely need to stop eating junk food.

Then start working out. I suggest doing some kind of bodyweight sports like martial arts for instance.

You're fucked, anon, plain and simple. The human male body is designed to hoard fat around the midsection, no matter what; your body considers it a matter of life-and-death, a reserve that must not be tapped for any reason, in case you find yourself unable to get any food for a month or two, and nothing is more important that keeping that. If you consume fewer calories, your body will adapt to use fewer (lowering your metabolism), in pure defiance of whatever any "calorie calculator" will tell you. They say that at times of deficit that your body will burn fat before muscle, but that's also bullshit. You'll lose muscle mass and still have a chubby belly, because that's what your body wants to do. Targeted exercises are useless; you can do sit-ups all fucking day and it won't burn the fat just because it's the closest to the working muscles; that's simply NOT how the body works. Cutting out fatty foods is also useless; the body converts all foods into glucose first (and stores a certain excess as fat, first) so all calories are calories; the only difference is how it makes you FEEL.

I don't know how many calories an "always starving" body needs for pure survival, which is the number you have to get down to before you'll ACTUALLY burn all that fat off, but I suspect it's somewhere between nothing and what they gave to Auschwitz survivors.

Literally everyone who has a flat belly either is naturally extremely skinny (plus under 30), got cosmetic surgery, or is constantly actually starving due to living conditions. It won't go away on its own, EVER, just through any kind of reasonable diet and exercise. So either learn to live with it, or do UNREASONABLE diet and exercise, something like eating less than 1000 calories per day and also training for a marathon; you simply HAVE TO risk serious injury and health problems or that fat won't go away. You'll be starving and miserable and in constant pain all over your body, but you'll get that skinny belly.

Oh, and don't forget: you have to maintain this regimen for THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, because otherwise the fat will just go back on, in as little as a few weeks.

Try fasting for 3 days, see how you like it, then keep going for 5 or 7 days. I'm building up the bravery to go past 5, which is really not a big deal in the scheme of the human system. You will not feel lethargic. I felt about normal, but calm and willing to do things since I wasn't digesting.

Yes, your body wants to hold on to its fat, but it can't create energy from nothing. You will lose the fat if you burn more than you consume.

A drop in metabolism makes you feel more lethargic. It doesn't just magically make it impossible to lose weight, it just requires more effort to exercise. And guess what, exercise boosts your metabolism, so suck it up and lift.

As far as fat distribution goes, you're right about targeted exercises.

That's a pretty fucking huge "only". The difference in how you feel on a diet of refined sugars vs oats and lean meats is pretty goddamn massive. How you "feel" here massively influences your energy and apatite. Yeah, calories are calories, but blood sugar spikes and proper nutrition are equally important too.

Carbs are your quick release energy. Don't try to cut them out entirely, just avoid refined shit that spikes your blood sugar. Carbs give you the energy to exercise, protein repairs and grows the muscles after the exercise.

A no carb diet would be Keto, and I've never tried it but I've heard it leaves you feeling pretty low energy and that it would only be recommended if you're literally to fat to exercise.

The problem with sugary garbage is that it hits the blood too fast to be used. It all hits the blood quickly and then your body releases a ton of insulin and stores the glucose as fat before you have a chance to use it, and then leaves you feeling low energy soon after. Compare that to something like oats where they are more slowly digested and the energy release is spread out over a longer period. It gives you more time to put the energy to use before the excess is stored.

Don't try to cut out fats entirely either, just try to get them from healthy sources like fish and nuts (and peanuts aren't nuts).

If you have a job where your sat down all day you need to eat fewer carbs because you don't really need them.

Avoid sugar and starch also basically just stick to meat and vegetables. Push ups and squats should be done every day or at least 5 times a week I do 100 of each but you can start small until you can do 100 easier.

Cardio helps more than anything for weight loss if you can't run very far yet or are a bit of a shut in try to walk more whenever you need to go somewhere that is not that far instead of using a vehicle walk there and walking can be relaxing.

I've been struggling with my weight for ages I keep fluctuating i did really well last year but i fucked it up. Consistency is key motivation is bullshit if you know you should work out but don't feel like it work out anyway if you know you shouldn't eat that certain food but you feel like it don't eat it anyway over time you will be where you want to be.

Fat distribution is hardly something you can change, it's your genetics. Losing bodyfat is the easy part, but getting the fat where you want is a complete bitch.

But if you want to have more fat in your booty, then you would have to change your hormones. Hormones are responsible for where your fat is distributed, and your hormones are completely against storing fat in the butt. Instead, your fat is stored in the stomach.

Consider increasing your estrogen levels if a nice feminine butt is what you're after.

Be in a small calorie deficit and eat mostly foods high in simple sugars and protein. Don't fall into weird diet fads such as keto or veganism (they do not work and will just end up fucking up your health in the long run), just eat a traditional diet of wholesome foods with high nutritional value. Avoid strange, artificial foods with unknown additives in them and high amounts of PUFAs (increases your estrogen to testosterone ratio and suppresses thyroid), and you should see the weight shed off.

Exercise is also very helpful for losing weight, particularly lifting weights and other forms of resistance training. Muscle is highly metabolically active, and when you exercise them, they burn more fat for energy at rest in a day than doing cardio. Cardio is also helpful too, just don't overdo cardio or else your body will work against your efforts to get lean by storing more visceral fat in response to the increased stress state. Also, do not exercise on an empty stomach, or you will have this same problem.

If you're on any SSRI drugs, get off of them.
