God uses numbers for significance. For example, each letter in the Hebrew alphabet has a numerical value attached to it. Case in point, Revelation 13:18, "This calls for wisdom: let anyone with understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a person. Its number is six hundred sixty-six."

I myself wake up many mornings at 3:33. It bothered me for years. I prayed about it and researched it. Some say demons, some say angels. There has been nothing conclusive. Definitely new agers and Satanists have usurped this, as with everything.

You might want to consider doing what I do. Stop wasting time asking Why, and use the time for prayer and Bible reading.
