Look, I'm going to be brief with this, I spent my whole life in an evangelical Protestant church and the truth was that I had a very bad time they always criticized other denominations such as Jehovah's witnesses or Mormons, in addition to filling our hearts with hatred towards the Catholic Church But being honest, I never thought it was bad, it's more I loved its church, its art, its music and the tradition that it had, I always told myself that when I grow up I would change my doctrine now the time has come in 2 days I will go to congregate in a catholic church but i have a big problem
How do I explain to my mother that I want to get out of her church and that I no longer want to be a Protestant?
I understand that it would hurt her a lot and that is my great fear but I cannot hold a lie for other years, but tell me what I should do

Be frank and charitable with her. Nobody said the way of Christ is going to be easy. Jesus said that following Him would cause division…not because he wants division, but that it is inevitable with the fallenness of the world ..but in the end…We will be with Him if we fight for Him. Welcome home, brother. It is good to have you here! : D

Aesthetics are at the bottom of the list on reasons to leave a church. Can you explain to your mother why theologically your convictions lie with the Roman church? Especially the doctrine of justification (the gospel).

Tell her you have apostatized from the Christian faith

First you must move out. It will alleviate a lot of problems, like caring what your mother thinks about you. You are not born to please woman, but God. If she treats you worse or disowns you it is a testament of her detestable character, if she tolerates you or is even interested about Catholicism because of you, it is a testament to her love and virtue as a mother.
