Do Methodist believe in Honor thy Father and thy Mother? With Catholics, even if they're outside the religion we have to obey our parents unless they tell us to do something that is sinful. Especially if you live under your parents roof.
You should be pleased that the cross given to you is so easy to bear. Compare to the Lord who was scourged over every inch of his body, carried the sins of the world, stumbled three times, was nailed to a cross and suffered and died.
