Wait a second. The scriptures say the followers of Christ ARE the chosen people now. In fact, belief in Christ is the true and only successor to Israel and Biblical Jews. They are in a continuous succession with the prophets and saved people of God from previous generations, all being saved by God who is now come in the flesh. Hebrews 11 says this. After listing a bunch of Old Testament saints it states, "And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect."

So-called Jews and the state of Israel that exists today is merely a parody. It is based off the babylonian talmud. There is no continuity with anything in Scripture there.

Ok, now I should say there is nothing in here about wishing for the destruction of a people. As Paul the apostle says in 2 Timothy, "In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will."

That snare includes the babylonian talmud and the various dark rituals of that religion such as moon worshipping at the new moon (kiddush levanaH) If possible, we should instruct those that oppose themselves. It may be God will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth.

Well with Augustine it was pretty consistent and meaningful. Omnipotent God means absolute fatalism means do what thou wilt. That includes satire and other various tomfoolery. Somehow somewhere down the line Christianity morphed into literal Pelagianism, score enough imaginary points to get to heaven lulz. That works great for the government, not so much for spiritual and mental health. Most modern people are so prideful once they read Augustine or Thomas and realize they had it all wrong they reject the Saints instead of amending their foolish ways.

Christianity is the main branch. It's the new covenant established between God and his followers via the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Modern Judaism is the rejection of the new covenant, and it's entire religion centers around destruction of Christianity.

You're operating under the false impression that Christianity is some ancient hippie movement. It isn't. We're called on to not only spread the Word of God, the Good News of Jesus Christ, but also to oppose the wicked. The Jews are wicked. They knowingly oppose God's will and seek to subvert and destroy the Church. The new covenant is for all, and thus the scriptures are for us all.

Those who were good can also turn to evil. Just because the Israelites and Hebrews were the progenitors of the faith doesn't mean that their descendants will continue to do God's will. You need only to look throughout the Old Testament to see the countless times Israel turned away from God and started worshiping the gods of their neighboring nations. What's important to know is that modern Jews have turned away from God, they wear the Star of Saturn on their flag, and they are propagators of greed and hedonism.

I agree that Christmas has lost its meaning on the majority of folks in the West, becoming a corporate holiday centered around spending and gift giving. But true Christians still see it for what it is, a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. I feel that Christians should push harder to return the holiday to its roots, but the marriage of corporate America and the Jewish media makes that a monumental task.

Christianity is truthful and everlasting, more so than Judaism. The Jewish holy books, the Talmud, is an encyclopedia of rabbincal writings and arguments as to why each law in the Torah does and doesn't apply to Jews, to the point the Jewish faith is meaningless and you can pick and choose what to do and believe. Furthermore, their nation is a grotesque bastardization of what it once was. After being cursed by God and scattered throughout the world, they lost their identity and their lands. The State of Israel is a soulless haven for international criminals and the scorned. It's nothing but Soviet-style buildings and ruins from ages past. Its existence depends on the American aid, and without it, it'd succumb to its Muslim neighbors who're chomping at the bit to take back that land
