I suffer from severe mental illness that makes me unable to feel joy or meaning in my life. I have attempted to take my own life before. I get no comfort from my faith, and as a matter of fact it just makes me more depressed, as I cannot live up to the creeds of the faith. What do you think of psychiatry?

Psychiatry and psychology have some atheistic worldview foundations but there is nothing shameful or unchristian about recognizing the reality of mental illness.

Its hard but crosses are there for our sanctification. The harder it is, the greater the sanctity God has ordained for you. Accept it rather then resent it and unite it with Christ's sacrifice.

I have fallen too. I now have a criminal record. Christianity is cucked and an ineffective religion, I felt more when I tried Islam. Try it. And don't fall for the Jewish scam psychiatry. Don't ever talk to a psychiatrist. They don't want to help you and they keep a record of everything you say to them which the police has access to if you're ever charged with a crime and psychiatrists have the authority to get you locked up in a mental hospital or prison.

get right with God, try do exercise, eating healthy and getting good nights rest consistently, make sure ur getting vitamin D (sun exposure). if that fails try consult a psychologist you trust, psych drugs should only be your last resort.
