You still have some research ahead of you, OP. The gnostics emerged along with the neoplatonists in the 2nd and 3rd century respectively. These merged together, along with some Persian mythology, under Manichaeanism in the 3rd century, commonly defined by a few books written in Syriac. These books were intelligible to the pharisaic remnants living in Babylon of Iraq, and influenced the writing of the Talmud which was codified in its final form around 499 AD. It was from Manichaeanism that the later pharisees first got ideas of reincarnation, moon worship rituals, and purgatory, which they still hold today.
What you talk about was just one sect that became influential later on. The kabbalah originated in Spain around 1290. And later subsects formed from out of that even later. It's basically heresy picking up and retaining whatever they think seems "cool" as it branches into more and more sects. There really is no point in studying it as these are all simply authoritarian cults wherein the cult leader always decides what is supposed to be true for the moment. The rest of it is just mysticism meant to make it look old, when as you said, it emerged under the gnostics.

This is one of history's greatest ironies to me. Jews are so adamant at holding to their culture, but their very own expression of Judaism is laced with Gnosticism. Even non Kabbalah believing Jews are still shaped by it, as many Rabbis still learn from many of it's teachings. They do all this while at the same time rejecting the true Jewish Messiah. Their accusation of Christianity being some "foreign" element and not truly Jewish is a joke. Since they embraced Platonic perversions with their Kabbalah. As Jesus said in Revelation, they are not the true Jews. The Church is. The Church decisively squashed Gnosticism in it's ranks as well, unlike the Jews and even Muslims.

What passages in the bible prove the statement to be in error? Until you can share, I will elaborate that Rabbinical Judaism ≠ Old Testament/Temple Mount/Sacramental/Classical Judaism.
Classical Judaism ended the moment the Romans fulfilled Jesus prophecy of the destruction of the temple, slaying of the priests, and ending of the sacraments tied to the old covenant. Only someone delusional or ignorant would make claims to the contrary.
