Which denominations like homosexuals? I would like to know so that I can avoid them.

It's everywhere, OP. The devil is working hard in the West rn. Try to find a good parish, a good priest, and don't make judgments off of larger social trends. A lot of people claim a certain faith based on their heritage alone and they don't have a clue what the Bible says, and this has a way of muddying the waters of a denomination at large.

Yes, I'm talking about the Greeks.

>Which denominations like homosexuals?

- Church of ENGLAND (also American Episcopalians who are the same) - this is the only church who openly has admitted gay/lesbian bishops.

- Presbyterian Church U.S.A.

- Lutheran Church (not all of them, but most of them).

- Mormons - recently they approved gay marriage.

And in the near future, the Theology of Liberation Catholics - ruled by the Pig-Fake Pope Francis.

I genuinely think Orthodoxy is the last hope for Christendom

AoG here. It's odd to think we, perhaps the most knee-slappy, theologically lax denom have such a good record on this account. But I can attest this record is absolutely true speaking from personal experience having moved around a little bit within the denom. No one affirms sodomy.

There's a few observations I could guess as to potentially why, though none seem concrete:

Maybe being weirdo experientialists is particularly effective at scaring off modernists and the people without strong faith.

Perhaps we're so erratic and unintellectual there's no methodical way for them to worm their way in like other denoms.

Maybe the lack of a hierarchy/power structure for the denom means modernists don't bother as for there being no position of authority to strive for to attempt to destroy the church. The modernists seem to love chasing the grandeur of vestments, miters and offices.

Since influence, rather than being tied to an office, in this denom is merely tied to a preacher's popularity, perhaps none of them can hope to become influential without quickly and easily losing their reach upon promoting their demonic b.s.

Just a theory; back to the note on being weird, raising hands and being all awe-stricken seems a surefire outward sign that people in attendance actually take their faith seriously. And that's most in the congregations. People who take their faith seriously generally take the Bible seriously. People who take the Bible seriously are against sodomy.

Because let's be honest, the dead-wood cluttering the pews in so many churches who affirm homosexuality aren't convicted believers in God, and if they are convicted at all in some belief then it's to the religion of man.

>Jehovah's Witness

this just goes to show that being against homosexuality isn't a marker of being christian.

People shop for churches like they shop for summer clothes; what am I going to wear this summer and give to Goodwill in the fall.

They don't look to see what is the Church established by Jesus Christ, they look for the Church that makes them the most comfortable in sin while providing the entertainment of finger wagging at those who commit sins they're not likely to indulge in.

It's not really faith or love of God, it's all about the self and hedonism.

The personal incredulity fallacy is not a rational argument.

There are many websites to help folks pick the religion that fits their beliefs, not God's teaching. So, people do shop religions by their own beliefs. If they didn't, these websites would not exist.
