So why did Jesus have enemies and was punished even though he was sinless? People say he died FOR your sins. (totally meaningless language) Which is supposed to mean he was a sacrifice, him dying somehow magically saves people from suffering and death if they believe that his death saves them from suffering and death. People say they believe this, even though I don't think they understand the concept. Is Jesus's suffering and death not a sacrifice, but rather a metaphor? I'm thinking maybe it's something like the "higher self" that you hear some talk about? Maybe it's saying that you are composed of two parts, the lower self and the higher self. The higher self is Jesus, sinless. The lower self is the sinning human. Some people like Eckhart Tolle talk about how the mind is divided into two parts. One part being an observer. The other part being the thoughts. He says usually people can't disconnect from their thoughts and think they are part of themselves, but that some people are able to disconnect and be observers of their thoughts. Not a fan of Eckhart Tolle but just saying.

Because you have to call out evil to be sinless and calling people evil makes them your enemies because evil people are narcissistic.

Is everyone abusing the meaning of metaphor or are you a very avid poster? Anyways, Christ saves because God took what is ours, even death, so we may receive what is his, even eternal life.

You need to get rid of that metaphorical thinking and realize that Jesuses sacrifice was literal and symbolic

It doesn't matter. It's not real, at least not how modern Christians understand it. You only understand the point of His crucifixion if you attend the masses at the end of lent. A hivemind murdered an innocent man. That's it.

Same way worldly people catch themselves on fire to protest Vietnam war
It's symbolic of the burnt sacrifice mentioned in Leviticus and throughout the Bible.

It was one hundred percent literally real.
If you do not believe this than you are not a Christian

What? Either Jesus's suffering and death was literal or it is a metaphor. Are you saying those who nailed Jesus to the cross did it as a symbolic gesture, using him as a prop?

>REEEEEEEEEEEEEE
I said it's real, just the extra fluff Christians (or kikes I can't tell anymore) add to it is bs. All abstraction is of Satan because it's not real and leads to death. What happened in REALITY is a hivemind brutally murdered an innocent man. You don't have to obscure it with any extra bs unless you're deliberately trying to hide the point. THE MASSES ARE EVIL AND BRUTALLY KILL INNOCENT PEOPLE.
