Ok few things to note here. First of all, the pharisaical cult is not actually composed of "Jews" in the Biblical sense of the word, it simply claims to be. You don't actually believe them, do you?
Do you think that the fact a majority of people decided on something must mean it's true (i.e. relativism?) If so then there's no point in having this discussion.
So that's the first point to clear up. Second, the Lord's supper isn't a ritual of the kind you have described at all. Third, the sodomites of Judaism work to no end trying to suppress the Scripture which condemns them. That's why they have political action groups whose sole purpose is to file lawsuits in obscure school districts against anyone who mentions the Bible or anything in reference to it in the public school or other administrative systems.
Nextly, it makes little sense to consider converting to something unless you're going to believe the truth claims of the entire gospel. If that is the case then there really is spiritual warfare going on on a level that materialist people wouldn't be aware of. There is no reason to go half way without believing the whole thing.
Fifthly, what if the modern concepts you're referring to don't really stretch back all that far but are mainly derived from modern biological sciences and the assumptions underpinning them (i.e. darwinism, survival of the fittest, materialism) which might not necessarily be the real or true explanation for things. What if parts of the ideology we have been fed are subverted or do not possess a full explanation for the basis for believing them in the first place. If they get you asking the wrong questions, then they don't have to worry about the answers.
The one thing you potentially got right is recognizing the people that are the source of this problem, I wouldn't advise you to join forces with those guys.
