I pray brethren that this place not become an outlet for the fake vigilance of conspiracy theory. I went too far with playing with the world and I wandered back to the mire of 4chan. I started out in /mu/ and /his/, talking about music and doing apologetics on /his/ and then other boards started slipping in. Eventually I started browsing /pol/ because I figured there was fellowship there. Somebody posted some things today I would have rather never seen regarding the evil that some wealthy people engage in. It occurs to me the internet can be a very powerful channel for ministry but that there is a dark side of it we must stay away from because we'll find things there that are grievous. It is not vigilant for a Christian to have such a morbid curiosity of the works of the devil and his children. Vigilance indeed is having the discernment to stay away from channels by way of which we might learn of this kind of monstrous evil. I hope that as Christians we trust that, if there is some spiritual danger to us we have not yet perceived, the Holy Spirit will convict us in the matter. We can't rely on fleshly knowledge of these things, which may prove to do more harm than good. I believe the cost to taking too much liberty in my Christian life and going back to 4chan, and acting as they do over there, was the things I learned of today but it shocked me into realizing I need to make a change. However I hope we can be a truly Christian forum, not one that hurls insults around, posts grotesque images all the time, acts in a conceited and condescending way, and certainly not one that drudges up the works of the devil as conspiracy theorists do. But rather let's be one that is charitable and posts things that exhort and uplift the brethren and who above all trusts the Holy Spirit to ultimately deliver us from all manner of evil. May God bless you all.

Stupid statement. Conspiracy is anything beyond our understanding or perception. To research conspiracy is simply to be searching for truth. But go ahead and be a sheep that just believes everything in mainstream media and school.

I think we know the difference between knowing that the elite are up to no good and actually looking into the no good that they are up to. I mean if there was a video of one of these get-togethers and you watched all the horrible things they did, at that point, would you not be like a bystander whom actually attended? At least I can say this stuff strengthens me in my resolve in anti-Calvinism when I realize our good and Holy God has no part in these wicked designs.

This is not to say I saw anything graphic, just creepy, suggestive and bizarre. But my point is there is a point when looking into conspiracy crosses over into participation in the things the conspiracy research is exposing.

>Don't believe in conspiracy theories

<Like that the Pharisees conspired with Roman authorities to have Jesus wrongfully executed

<Like that Satan conspires to lure us into sin through the approval of worldly powers

<Like that King David would conspire to purposefully have one of his soldiers killed so that he could steal his wife

<Like that those in power might not be totally transparent in their actions, and that they may not be entirely benevolent

Seriously, forget even the obvious biblical examples, is it possible to accurately read any history at all without concluding that those with influence and power are basically in a constant state of conspiring to affect one thing or another? All of society is a conspiracy. If you always take the actions of the powerful at face value you are a total fool.

>>846221

Well those things are also called "evidence", sometimes necessary to convince non-believers. Going through a grizzly murder scene isn't fun, but that's part of what it tales to catch a murderer. Being exposed to ugly and evil things alone doesn't make you culpable for them.

I'm saying you should believe that there are conspiracies but trust in the Lord that he will deliver you from the evil designs they purpose against you. And also recognize there are dark and dangerous spiritual forces pervading over these things. Would you want to summon a tulpa and have it harass you? Last night I had strange experiences of sleep paralysis. Looking at this stuff exposed me or otherwise made me more vulnerable to demonic attack.

Well I'd say trying to conjure a Demon goes well beyond "looking into conspiracies", you don't have to perform rituals yourself to verify that occultists exist.

In any case, if you have gone too far and exposed yourself to demonic influence, you should consult a priest immediately.

4chan is part of the conspiracy. It tries to turn you gay and uses social shaming tactics to impair your ability to think rationally.

I think the concept of evil is at least sometimes something that is in the mind of the perceiver. It is that which the perceiver is unenlightened about. We perceive that which we can't understand as evil. Once you understand it it's no longer perceived as evil. And the fact you perceive something evil to be in the world or your life is a sign you are undergoing enlightenment. I think this is what a dialectic means, thesis-antithesis-synthesis. Look at this picture I found online. Notice how thesis is blue just like "bluepilled", while antithesis is red just like "redpilled". Probably not a coincidence. The thesis and antithesis then produce the synthesis which is purple, and which is the new thesis. Some say the Lucifer is the light bearer, this is what I'm talking about. The Jews are viewed as the synagogue of Satan but view themselves as "a light unto the nations". It's all just speculation though. I do agree with you to some extent. I think that looking into conspiracy and the occult can lead your mind down a dark path. This is probably why secret societies exist. They only give to the initiates the amount of information they are ready for. Plus they do charity, you probably have to balance the initiation with charity and exoteric religion. Some Masonic lodges you have to be a Christian to join. This thing about only giving the amount of information the initiates are ready for I read about in a book called In the Mystic Footsteps of Saints. Quoting:

>“There are two categories of knowledge I received from the holy Prophet: one I reveal to you, and the other, were I to even intimate something of it, you would try to kill me.”

Here is a video on something related to this topic:

https://youtu.be/L9Bme9IUjgQ

The Abrahamic religions are 3 just like the 3 parts of the dialectic. I've been thinking about the triangle or pyramid with an eye, often found in churches as well as Illuminati stuff. There are 3 corners, which might correspond to the 3 parts of the dialectic. Notice the eye with rays is always at the top, this might imply the synthesis. Another similar thing is perhaps the Tower of Babel. Don't know much about it but it was something about how humanity was split up into many groups speaking different languages, so they couldn't understand each other. It was in Babylon I believe and there was a Kabbalah video where he said Babylon is where the ego first emerged in humanity, causing division between people. Also, are you familiar with David Icke's problem-reaction-solution, which he calls the Hegelian dialectic? I don't know much about philosophy but this is clearly another name for thesis-antithesis-synthesis. I know it's used for debates and logic but Icke talks about terrorism as false flags, which then gives a reason to implement surveillance and policing. I don't think the two are as unrelated as they might seem. Also left and right in politics I believe are related.

A conspiracy theory I made myself is that maybe the elite are dispersing information about the occult to the masses, along with the notion that this is because they are now ready for it, while they are in fact not ready for it, so the information serves to enslave them.

Back in 2013 I think I had some sort of spiritual awakening. I felt like I was exposed to the presence of an evil elite in the world. Later I felt that this was actually God choosing me, that the evil conspiracy is Jesus or something. I later lost all spirituality and became a total degenerate. Today I have health problems and am charged with crime waiting for trial.

This is exactly the kind of reason you should not look into the occult. You are being seduced by vain philosophy.

Yes, this is what I'm saying, the devil wants you to look into pedo ring art and other stuff pervaded with the spirits of demons. "The Vigilant Christian" among others have been workers of the devil, promoting the idea that the vigilance spoken of in the New Testament is literally keeping tabs on the devil and his lies. I can say in my lost life, I became an occultist even after the stuff around the 2016 election had come out, because I believed I could achieve virtue and righteousness without Christ. I had in fact already put Christianity into a syncretic theosophical constellation, like you are doing here. God saved me by supernatural means because there was no way I would find my way to Christ through the pursuit of knowledge. I was given the sense that I must pray, even though I hadn't done so since I was a child and indeed didn't believe prayer did anything, now being a neoplatonist. I was delivered and the praying was actually agonizing because demons had legal rights over me and were holding on. I actually threw up at the end of it. I will say anon, that the Lord Jesus is rich in mercy and that you should seek him even though you had this wicked thought. I was not responsible with my faith and slipped up many times significantly but God has restored me. You can read my testimony at length here. I think the thread will help you reorient your thinking which is also known as metanoia or repentance.

Can you give an example of social shaming that's happening on 4chan? Because I believe it's a toxic place, just that I can't put my finger on it.

The good thing is that I found /christian through 4chan.

An obvious instance you've definitely seen often is people insulting you and trying to bully and peer pressure you into accepting their narrative instead of logically addressing any points you brought up.
