I believe in Quran for a long string of things. I was sick in the hospital with Crohn's and getting a huge surgery done. There was a lady who would come to my roommate's bedside every day and recite to him the psalms of David. He was a vegetable, he would moan when in pain and that's it, but every day his daughter would come and read him the bible. I started believing in something since then, and started singing gregorian hymns literally for hours at night because it felt good. I never prayed or read the bible, because the bible didn't feel right as the word of God that's been recordably tainted along with the tanakh, but I did start believing in a next life and God and the prophets. One day I recited quran after literally months of singing for hours at night and it became extremely clear to me it's the perfect word of God. There's hardly a doubt in my heart simply because of the poetic structure of the words let alone the message they bear of inherent truth.

Every day since then I've recited Quran and my life has become the servituted of God. Literally the worst person possible I was racist planning on killing random black people and people who didn't believe what I believed, every day I peeled myself from slumbler to return to my computer screen and gay porn, and I was morally apprehensible all around from every measure. Now I'm happy to see the sky hear the birds see a sunset or smell the air, my computer is in a trashcan, I pray 5 times every day and it's the thing I do the most. Remembering God and His gifts unto me is literally all that matters to me now and all of this serves to build an elaborate mandala as to why I believe in Quran.
