Some people are interested in communitary rural life based on christian (catholic) principles? Any experience with this?

It seems less unusual in the US, where there are the Amishes for example, than in France where Christian initiatives like this are rare and little-known.

I have a land unexploited, I am considering to start a farm, even if this represents a lot of work.
