The interesting thing about pagans is their proclivity to attack Christianity as "s—kin" based and/or a kike religion. They like to think of themselves as embracing pagan beliefs as being more true their heritage and not a "foreign" influence.

But their beliefs largely streamed from the Sumerian (and later, Hittite) world. Their own beliefs are "foreign" as well. The difference with Christianity and Judaism is that Abraham was a Sumerian himself, and broke off, creating his own breakaway civilization. He didn't build upon the gods of the old Sumerian world, but purposely exiled himself from it.

The only thing I find somewhat positive about the Norse though is that they didn't paint Loki in a very positive light. He's neutral at best, but hardly positive. That's different than the Trickster figure in Sumer or Prometheus in Greek. The trickster tradition tends to hail him as a defender of humanity, who gave them power or intelligence (like Promotheus gifting humans with fire.. or the "Serpent" in the Sumerian garden "freeing" mankind). For some reason, the Norse were wise enough to not do this. While the Bible calls him out for what he is: The false "Lightbringer" (i.e. Lucifer). The supposed "gift" he granted to man was man's own ego, and it's only brought sin into the world.

Biggest pagan sect I've ever heard of. Euro-Paganism as a whole is very very small. And the majority of them are not conservative by any stretch of the imagination, so they're likely to not survive for too long.

What is there to talk about?

Modern pagans are either syncretic new age faggots that shove all kinds of 60's hippie bulls— onto a poor understanding of historical paganism, or syncretic far-right faggots that shove all kinds of modernist nonsense like naturalism or 19th century racialism onto a poor understanding of paganism.

The only ones that do it properly are groups like the theodists, but they are so incredibly obscure they don't count.

I equally despise syncretic hippy types and far right naturalists too. Nice to see others threading the needle here. It's a problem on both ends of the spectrum.

>the neopagan phenomenon

A trend in Western culture that has emerged due to man's inevitable longing for spirituality. When you consider how dumbed down society has become via political correctness and other forms of social programming, it's only natural that Logos would be rejected by most in favor of a caveman-tier religion.

There's somewhat of an inherent faggotry in Greece's view of women as well. Going back to the origins of the "first woman", in Pandora. At first glance, you notice that there are parallels with Eve (just as Trickster myths often share parallels with the Serpent, as mentioned earlier), but she's far more castigated than Eve. Pandora's box unleashed all of the evils of the world, and she gets sole blame for it.

>From her is the race of women and female kind:

of her is the deadly race and tribe of women who

live amongst mortal men to their great trouble,

no helpmates in hateful poverty, but only in wealth. - Hesiod

The Bible rightly tells us that both Adam and Eve alike are responsible (and ultimately, the Serpent gets the most severe curse.. while God still loves Adam and Eve). The Christian view is not inherently repulsed by females (nor feminist either) - although there are many faggots in the West who reinterpret Eve as Pandora now. You hear it all of the time, where Westerners borrow Christian symbolism and blame Eve for all sin. But they're actually preaching Greek faggotry. Not scripture.

And honestly must modern Hinduism is pretty much monotheism in disguise, thanks to their interaction with Buddhism(which made the monist/henotheist schools of thought most popular sect as a reaction because the more purer polytheistic vedic hinduism couldn't answer the criticisms by Buddhists and other nastiks) , Islam and later Christianity. Perhaps the only true pagan religion is shintoism but Japan is probably the most atheistic country now.

>Perhaps the only true pagan religion is shintoism but Japan is probably the most atheistic country now.

Sadly, Japan once had two decently sized Christian populations:

Hiroshima and Nagasaki

https://www.tsunagujapan.com/nagasaki-the-catholic-rome-of-japan/

So we can partly thank the US for the weak population of Christians in Japan (of course, Japan persecuted the church before, but by the 20th century, things were improving).

I sometimes wonder if those cities were targeted for that and had little to do with any strategic importance. I think the Emperor of Japan must've realized what kind of sick bastards he was dealing with. Not just for the nukes, but for the specific targets. The United States showed that they even care about Christians there.

This is all just conspiracy, of course, but just my two cents. I don't really agree with you that there are less pagan nations. I think the ruling classes are still involved in it and don't care anything about the Church. The US wears the guise of a "Christian nation", but it's always been run by people with suspiciously pagan beliefs (Freemasons). Ultimately, Freemasons (and in Europe, the Rosicrucians) would consider themselves to simply be Hermeticists. Worshippers of the "god of knowledge" (although Hermes/Mercury are also called Tricksters.. not just a god of knowledge). And yet again, Sumer creeps up too. Hermes can ultimately be linked to Ningishzida. Another reptilian/serpent god, but for some reason, he's not THE reptilian/serpent god Enki. He's the son of Enki. Either way, Ningishzida and Hermes somehow share the same entwined snake symbolism - the Caduceus. That much was kept, despite the great divide of region and time between Greece and Sumer. And the US still uses the caduceus (as a medical symbol in the Army, for some reason).

Sorry for being a bit all over the place. I mostly wanted to mention Nagasaki.

They claim they want to be a neo-pagan because, "It connects me to my ancestors." even though almost every recording we have of paganisic mythology was recorded by Christians. Never mind the fact, that they refuse Christianity, the religion that their last 500 generations of ancestors followed.

Neo-Paganism is exclusively for atheists that want spirituality in their lives, but don't want to subject themselves to a moral code.

<the Christianity is foreign meme

To me Christianity looks like a Greek counter-culture. Socrates much like Jesus was unjustly sentenced to death by corrupt polito-religious leaders in front of a large crowd by means of a tree related death just for spreading ideas. The Greek gods frequently raped human women and the Christian God destroyed their offspring in a massive flood and is extremely against miscegenation and fornication. Socrates refused to worship the gods of the state and Christianity also disallows worshiping other gods. It's Greek all the way down and somewhere in John the pharisees go into a panic over the possibility Jesus might preach to the Greeks. The Romans tried to larp as Greeks and nowadays everyone's trying to larp as Rome. Maybe the Greeks were once Israelites but it has to back even further than Israel. Maybe Sumer's the beginning of it all but who knows.

They're insincere in their beliefs.

On the one hand are fedora larpers who noticed that atheistic society is weak and dying and now they think to ape the strength of the religious by pretending to have faith, which in their world view is the same what everyone else is doing. This group generally have noticed that there's something going on with the jews and Western suicide and want to remove Christianity because they misunderstand the relationship between the two and also because Dawkins et al. taught them to hate the Lord. On the other hand there are the subversives, who hope to weaken us with propaganda which nobody buys anyway.

These two groups stroke each other's egos and both think they're moving towards their goal. Both are too stupid to see that since nobody believes in their demon-gods any more than they themselves do and nobody is going to start believing over their silly meme formats, and because their strategy cannot do anything without the plebs starting to believe in it, they are wasting their time.

Nah, it's either syncretic new age and occultist faggots that add progressive, environmentalist and eastern bulls— to the mix, or syncretic materialistic /pol/tards that

add 19th century concepts like naturalism, victorian racialism, or pan-europenism, and turn it into "muh nature", "muh gods are symbolism" or "muh white brotherhood".
