Is it sinful, mortally or venially, to engage in verbal warfare with those who are unambiguously with those who are not christians? Is it alright to troll them on places such as Kiwifarms and /cow/?

Depends on what you categorize as spiritual warfare. If you have an end goal in mind that will better them, pointing out their errors might not be a bad thing. But if it is just harassment of some random atheist online, you have better uses of your time. I'd say its only justified if they have some following. For example, I think it's perfectly fine to poke fun at Dawkins because he actually has a following of people and he is mentally stable compared to someone on /cow/

Real and sincere arguments are good, even if you humiliate whoever you are arguing against. Character assassinations like /cow/ love to do are dishonest gossip and therefore sinful.

I don't think its necessarily wrong, since its usually just banter, but you certainly have better uses of your time. Besides, holding them up, sometimes will put you on lists for more calls anyways. Just holding them up out of spite is pointless and even if it doesn't happen to be sinful, will certainly not add to your virtue
