What are some of the better commentaries on the Bible? I know study Bibles have a little bit of commentary, but are there any more in depth commentaries worth reading?

It's also pretty bad, for the most part. Good if you're reading the Bible for the first time, or if you are an Evangelical turning to Orthodoxy, but bad otherwise.

I've only heard good things from the Ignatius Catholic Study Bible and the Oxford Study Bible.

You may also want to see the Church Fathers' commentaries on the Scriptures.
