Funnily enough, out of all the boards on 8chan this was one of my first and I can tell you, you'll be up to speed in no time. Feel free to reply to your own thread or any other that the topic might fit, tbh I think "generals" (threads about a subject where many can join and post) are great (furry thread, robots thread, brain in a jar thread, literature thread, etc - it could work), but due to the size of this board it's normal if you just want to make your own personal and/or throwaway thread.
Also as you can see we have a five picture limit.
