Learn urban farming. Search for it on youtube. There is a million videos. You don't need land, just go door to door asking for people to let you use theirs in exchange for a portion of the crop. The one advantage you have is that you are smack dab in the middle of a huge market. Guys make 50k-60k a year doing this.

I've tried searching around for jobs and it seems like even entry level shit nowadays need credentials. It's just not that easy when you can't drive and have no experience. How would you draft a resume in my situation? I am willing to work, but it feels like to even get hired in this day and age is to put on a fucking show for employers.
In all honesty though, if I wanted even a job at McDonalds, how would I draft a resume? Anyone have experience walking into even a frycook job like that? I am honestly even willing to start there.

Alright.
Are you a teenager or in your 20s? Actually, there should be a thread for people to create their résumés and get a job.

Regardless, if I do manage to find a reasonable opening, how would I draft a resume in my position?

I am 21 and people are telling me to start now or else it will get harder because one thing businesses are looking for is young people for entry-level jobs. I just don't know how to get started. I always read about peoples first job experiences but all the stories I've read included people who could actually drive or had finished high-school. How was your first job?

I have same problem, but after half a year of going through many job applications, I managed to get employed as an entry-level road worker… for 2 days before I was "asked to leave on my own volition". Well, I was told by the employees that you don't get more than a minimum wage and all the bonuses that supposedly would've been sizeable portion of the salary would only be given if you worked in a goddamn typhoon for a full month.
I have no idea how much harder it would be for someone with no high-school degree, because I can't get anything with rather great exam scores, but then again you're not living in third-world shithole where you can't get anywhere without having right relatives.

Most fast food places don't really care about getting a resume for their fry cooks, so don't worry about writing one out just yet. Most places just have you fill out an online application that is designed to make sure you're not utterly retarded and that you're not going to steal from them. That second part is the most important. A lot of places have you do a personality test sort of thing along with your application. Any answers you give that imply you might be okay with stealing from your employer are an automatic disqualification. Also be sure to give answers that make you sound like a real team player who loves getting along with other people and helping out the customer. If they ask for references, see if you can talk a friend/family member into pretending to be a neighbor that you did babysitting/yardwork for when you were a teenager. Just make sure their story matches the one you put down on the application. If you still keep in touch with any teachers from high school, they can be good references too.
I would suggest selling off possessions/begging your parents for enough money to buy a decent bike, if you don't have one already. Then find every fast food place within 3-5 miles, go to their websites and fill out applications. If there are construction sites nearby, you might also consider seeing if the foreman is around, introducing yourself with a firm handshake and asking if his company is hiring, and if so, how one would go about applying for a job. I'm fairly sure that Wal-Mart will take people without high school degrees, but many other grocery stores don't.
You might also look into seasonal employment. FedEx and UPS hire on extra warehouse workers for the holiday rush, and most municipalities and school districts bring on extra groundskeepers for the spring and summer. Doing well at a seasonal job may lead to an offer for full-time employment. If not, you can at least put it on your resume and use your manager as a reference.
The most important part is to simply get out there and get after it. Starting is always the hardest part, but once you get going and start building up confidence and momentum, it gets a lot easier.

I'm at least 99.999999% sure that "valid drivers license" just means a State ID or an equivalent. Just go to the DMV with your birth certificate and social security card and ask for a State ID, they'll take your picture, give you a paper card until the plastic one comes in the mail and you should be okay. :)

Can't say that I do, unfortunately. My experience is working in groundskeeping for a school district. However, there is a construction company pretty near where I used to live that mostly does paving/road construction. It often has a traffic sign outfront like pic related that flashes "HELP WANTED - NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED." It really just depends on the state of the economy where OP lives, but if you live in a growing city, there are absolutely construction jobs to be had. Not having a car might make things difficult, though. They usually expect you to make your own way out to whatever site you're working at, so OP may need to arrange some sort of carpool with a coworker or something.

If you're being paid shit you'll more than likely be working around shit people who work like shit and will probably talk shit about you like kings of the playground who do jack shit unless they're trying to curry favor for a better position or they know they're probably being watched.
And if one of your fellow workers is having a bad day they'll most likely do a bad job, and when minimum wage workers are having a good day they can sometimes not give a shit about doing a good job. I mean, you'd would be paid shit to do the jobs NOBODY wants to fucking do but requires one of, if not the, largest number of workers in this country and still manages to cycle out new employees at least every month. You would be best off working the graveyard shift as a stock boy with the lepers and ghosts.
Minimum wage labor is a god damn atrocity. And it's bullshit that the best people suited for entry level jobs are fucked out of the opportunity so that middle aged women, old men, convicts, and minorities can have a chance.
So you know, fuck that bullshit. And if you get into construction like anon is talking about and I find you sitting around on your ass with roads cut off for too long, I'm running you over. So how about getting into crime, where all the pussy is? What are your skills and interests OP?

My bike is in desperate need of a tuneup. There is a Wal-mart less than 2 miles from my house that would be perfect but I'll have to see if they're hiring. As long as you're certain they're not looking for Resumes or high-school experience because I really do not want to look like a fucking idiot out there. The application process is all online for Walmart, or at least it was when I applied back in 2008. You won't be making an ass of yourself in front of anyone even if you do somehow fuck up the application process. I did not submit a resume when I applied, and got a callback for an interview. Same goes for the eight or so other shitty food service/retail jobs I have worked. Walmart is always hiring because working there is hell on earth. They have tremendous employee turnover. Just realize that your options as a high school dropout are very limited and tough it out. Your only choices are to either work somewhere shitty or make your own money somehow. My suggestion to you would be to view your shitty job at Walmart or whatever as a means to an end. Spend your free time researching a good business to get into. Maybe it's Ebay/Amazon jewing, maybe it's stock trading or cryptocurrency, or maybe it's teaching yourself a valuable skill like programming or learning how to hand-make a product that people will pay for. Don't fall into the wageslave trap of spending your paycheck on stupid shit the moment you get it. Save like hell and build up the necessary funds to break free from the shitacular Walmart world in which you will be living and become a self-made man.

I second this. If you're in a suburban area, then you likely have access to some land. Farming is dirt cheap (pun intended), great exercise outdoors, and plus you can pay less or nothing for food, and you can sell surplus at a farmer's market, if you get to that point.
For the immediate jobhunt, Craigslist has always been useful for me. Consider expanding your geographic search range; it might suck having a long commute, but having a job makes it significantly easier to get a much better job. Good luck, and know that you can accomplish this.

Currently all I have to my name is $700 combined from a deep in the money $blnk call option with a couple months time left thats up 400%, some $blnk stocks, and around $30 bucks cash for gas. I also have a 305 spy put that lasts till Friday.
I do atm have a ok job and I do have a good dad so I’m not worried about my near term future, but I do have a girl I’m trying to marry. I won’t ask my dad for anything unless I’m stranded or In danger, which is just how I am.

Apply for unemployment and use the money to slowly purchase guns, ammo, solar panels, batteries, and canned food. Work whatever horrible job you need to tide you over, but ONLY if it does not reduce your welfare benefits where you live.
This is not a happy answer but it is a realistic one. People do not want to admit it, but the job market is getting worse and worse every day, and civil unrest in the near future is all but assured. A "good" job is not going to save you. Acquire money as fast as possible and start prepping for your life.

I should have reworded the first sentence, by "slowly" I mean "the fastest rate you can do without killing yourself".

Cisco certs
You need the first two Cisco courses
A+
Linux command line course
All offered at CompTIA at affordable prices. Alternatively I think being a butcher and getting a job at COSTCO would be excellent. Butchers eat well you know.

re: IT field/cisco certs–
ccna isn't entry level, and ccent was phased out
A+ is the only cert you need for that help desk job, and the help desk is the only way in unless you get lucky. Comptia recommends taking their network+ cert after 9 months exp but that's when you should start looking at the CCNA. Because it'll give you all the general knowledge you get from network+, and hands-on training with gear that people use.
Not only that but it's the gear everything else is based on. Cisco invented networking as we know it.
Comptia certs give a surface level understanding of too many things to remember and they're vendor-neutral, meaning they're not directly applicable to anything. I've taken similar courses in the military and it's a waste of time and money. What little you learn will be soon forgotten without practical application on each specific concept in a decent time after training.
The A+ costs almost $500, but, that one happens to be worth it to get the entry level jobs. Security+ is also a job requirement everywhere.
IT is a great field if anyone is looking to make a change, especially if you get into security after some experience.

also, the a+ is probably necessary for the help desk but it isn't enough by itself. You gotta do labs and learn some networking, maybe get a Microsoft MTA cert with it. Browse yt, there's a ton of advice on what to do.

Here are the tips on how to find a job:
1. Don’t even think about paying an agent, that is a scam. Recruiters get paid by employers to fill specific roles, end of.
2. LinkedIn is an incredibly powerful tool for employers and recruiters. Use it as an online CV, make sure you mention all your key skills so that they flash up in a search. I'm writing an essay on how to find a job (follow the similar structure of https://writinguniverse.com/free-essay-examples/social-issues/ ) . Btw a pal of mine is a partner in a large management consultancy, seems almost all their hires (in N.America, they’re a bit ahead of us) come via headhunters using LinkedIn.
3. Network like crazy. People hire their mates, or mates of mates. Tell everyone you know that you are looking for a new job.

I am also looking for work. I was fired from my previous job due to quarantine and I cannot find a new one. It frustrates me because my savings are not enough for me to meet my financial needs. I want to have a stable income and start making big money. maybe it is worth starting your own business? but I have no capital to invest. my friend advises me to take https://plscashadvance.com/ez-payday-loans.html out a loan. do you think this is a good idea? is it worth the risk? in which area is it better to start a business to make money quickly?

How much startup capital do you have? A basic lawnscaping business is cheap and easy to get going. You can just hire people to work for you, pay them their shares, and cash the rest.

Maybe just become a mod or a hardcore shiller for my coin tbh, just shoot me a DM on TG
Look, we’re all in crypto here. I’m building a network of guys from here and sorting out the smart from the dumb and lazy. We’re forking LTC which means that most of us are familiar with the tech, it’s nothing crazy, but the cult is building out and it hasn’t even been that long.
Smart contract tokens die in like a day, but we’re trying to make a multi year project. I don’t want to go so far into our culture or anything, because it’s easy for jannies to ban certain phrases and stuff when I spam like this.
We’re chumming the waters of /biz/ to see what sort of people we can find. It has been (by far) the most effective marketing and recruitment strategy to date.
There are many unanswered questions here, but please take the time to message me at @ThisFuture23 on TG for more information. We have premade channels and chats to help explain everything

Likewise, I'm trying to find work. Due to quarantine, I was terminated from my former position, and I have yet to secure another. It's a source of frustration for me because my savings aren't sufficient to cover my expenses. I want a steady source of income and to be able to start earning a lot of money. Maybe starting your own company is a good idea? However, I lack the financial resources necessary to make an investment. My friend suggests that I apply for a loan from https://getfastcashus.com/online-payday-loans-in-minnesota-mn.php. I'm considering it. Exactly how do you feel about it? do you think the danger is worth it? Starting a business to make money fast is better done in a certain industry.

Listen, do you have sites like https://jooble.org/jobs-flight-attendant-no-experience? I'm sure that such services with vacancies should exist in all countries of the world. For example, on this site you can find a job even without work experience and without any special skills, which suits many people. You can also filter jobs to see only those in your area.

Yes, I also heard many good feedbacks about LinkedIn but never succeeded myself Sometimes it takes months or even longer to find a suitable job. You should be lucky to find a job at once after starting your search. Nowadays more and more people are in trouble while they lost their job. Unemployment is one of the main current problems. I get more advantages with LinkedIn customer service https://www.linkedin.com/company/pissedconsumer. However, I also read and heard many positive feedbacks about Indeed. My close friend found her job there too.
