Movie Time -- If you have not seen Star Trek: Of Gods and Men then you are in for a treat. This is a low-budget film, sure, but the nostalgia factor is right through the roof. The timeline has changed, the U.S.S. Enterprise is a battleship and the Federation is an empire. The only bone that I have to pick is that Gary Mitchell had already achieved the status of a god in Where No Man Has Gone Before but he does not seem so powerful anymore. Twitter has stepped right up to the edge and is pretty much daring the Trump administration to do something. My suspicion is that Q is actually in control of Twitter and has implemented this action in order to stir the beehive and advance the Great Awakening. The D's avoid soliciting responses from Barr because they don't actually want any answers. The D's also like to project their own biases onto "the American people". The American people ought to feel insulted.

The worst attacks on Barr appear at 1:06:35, 1:17:55, 1:29:50, 1:45:10, 1:56:00, 2:30:10, 3:03:15, 3:29:40, 3:41:40, 4:15:45, 4:28:00, 4:39:50, 4:45:45 and 4:52:10 (which amounts to most of them). At 3:12:00, 4:27:20 and 4:57:25, Jim Jordan excoriates the D's for not allowing Barr to answer questions.

The major lesson to be learned is that the D's willfully conflate "peaceful protestors" with "violent rioters". Barr was not allowed to make a distinction. Also, how is the DOJ answerable for vote-by-mail, the census or health care? This "interview" with Barr is a travesty. This is all nothing more than a transparent attempt to attack Trump.

In summary, the demonrats have expended every ounce of ammunition in this attack on Barr but it all just bounced off him like cotton balls (or, sometimes, oranges). The R's mounted a strong defence. If you are an American, this session of Congress is a must-see. It is a long video but it is also highly entertaining and it ought to make you very angry. The demonrats are stealing your country by hook and by crook.

Is the storm almost over? -- This new development in Portland may be the beginning of the end of the political uprising in the US. The city and state governments have agreed to let the police do their jobs as a condition for the federal agencies to back off on their threat to take over law enforcement in Portland. The movement to "defund the police" is dead and buried. Seattle is next.

Invidious instance is shutting down

The main Invidious instance (invidio.us) will be shutting down on September 1, 2020. Omar, the original creator and current maintainer, is tired and fed up. We can't blame him but this, to me, is a sad moment. I have grown to rely on Invidious in order to bypass the Youtube bullshit. It is not exactly clear, however, why the instance needs to shut down just because Omar will no longer be involved. Plans are in the works to find a solution.

As far as I can tell, invidio.us is the only Invidious instance in all of North America. Most of the others are in Europe. This will have some impact with regard to videos that are region-locked to the US. For example, CBS News is only accessible through invidio.us for anyone not in the US. Not a big loss, I'm sure, but it is just one example.

For my part, I have been linking to invidio.us for Youtube videos on my own board at 8kun (/alleycat/). All of those links will break in September. We shall see whether there will be a viable solution for this.

Fuck Invidious

So I've started linking to Youtube instead of Invidious (invidio.us) for the videos here. I have no faith in that platform anymore. It has proven to be far less of a solution to a problem and more of a problem in itself. Early versions of Alleycat Player (when it was called Youtube Player) relied on Invidious for Youtube videos because it saved me the trouble of hacking Youtube. I finally moved on. Youtube, as much as I hate it, is far more reliable than any Invidious instance. I'm tired of the bullshit. Bye-bye, Invidious (you fucking quack).

Interestingly, the way 8kun handles the poster image gives me more space to write my content without it wrapping around the image. On the other hand, it will be a bit more difficult in cases where I do want to wrap the content. My issue is that I don't want article links to wrap around the image because that looks stupid. It is problematic because I need to consider how it wraps on a widescreen (16:9) monitor versus a standard (4:3) monitor, the latter being what I use. Whatever. I'll work it out.

With all of the sports venues shut down for months because of the phoney coronavirus, one would expect the fans to flock back for much needed entertainment. Not so. Millie Weaver and Gavin Wince (husband/boyfriend) indicted -- They were arrested on Friday. The charges: burglary, tampering with evidence, obstructing justice and domestic violence. That is an odd assortment of charges. Supposedly, the indictment was sealed under a grand jury but probably not for burglary or domestic violence. This may be a case of an overzealous prosecutor trying to prop up his case with unrelated charges. The embedded video begins with footage of the arrest taken by Millie. A family dispute may have taken place a while back involving Millie's mother (Felicia McCarron), a cell phone and some pictures taken (go to 8:00 in the Alex Jones video linked below). One might surmise that this was an attempt to subvert the doco but it is available now on multiple platforms. Tore Lindeman (or Maras-Lindeman) performed the uploads after Millie was arrested. The Youtube copy has not been deleted. This is all rather confusing.

Kamala Harris barely gets mentioned in this long diatribe. 2020 Democratic National Convention, Day 2 -- The second day already? My, how time flies. Biden's campaign slogan should read "Vote for the Nice Guy" instead of the awkward "Build Back Better". I don't know who they are trying to convince. Themselves, perhaps? As the old saying goes, nice guys finish last. They certainly don't go around draining swamps or turning over money changing tables. To the contrary, the demonrats desperately want a return to the status quo. That is, foreign wars and payola. The "nice guy" part is for the rubes.

Trump is asked The Question - sort of -- On Friday, August 14, and also on Wednesday, August 19, President Trump was asked about Qanon. The earlier question is in the video below (12:35) where he was asked whether he espoused the "Qanon conspiracy theory" in relation to Marjorie Taylor Greene who won a Republican primary in Georgia. He was asked two questions about the "Qanon movement" in the embedded video. The second question (1:35) mentions a "satanic cult of pedophiles and cannibals". Whoop.

The questions are not specifically about Q. Maybe the press is working up to it but probably not. They are more interested in trying to discredit the President than in disclosing the truth. Trump was asked "Do you know who Anonymous is?" by Jim Acosta months ago. There is a group that calls itself "Anonymous" but that is a different thing altogether and Trump's response was non-specific.

Different reporters asked these questions and they are: Jill Colvin and Shannon Pettypiece. I'm writing these names down to see if they ask again or if yet another reporter will take a stab at it. Both reporters reported on their own questions but without mentioning who asked the questions. It appears to be a common journalistic practice to avoid mentioning the name of the questioner in a press report even when reporting on one's own question. Seems odd (or maybe suspicious).

Cuties -- This is the trailer for the upcoming Netflix show. It has garnered a huge amount of attention, perhaps more than it deserves. We don't know what the producers actually have in mind and there is little in the trailer to prove nefarious intent. This is not the first time that children have been sexualized by Netflix and others, including Disney. I think that what we are seeing is a growing intolerance for the subtle (and not so subtle) attempts to normalize pedophilia. If Netflix loses millions of subscribers over this then they certainly will have made their bed.

2020 Republican National Convention, Day 1 -- The first day (Monday) of the convention is an antidote to the downer that was the DNC. The demonrats love to demonize America, calling everybody a racist and threatening that the violence and destruction will not end until Donald Trump is kicked out of office. Americans are so against them that they had to game the like/dislike ratios on Youtube to avoid looking as bad as they are. The RNC did not have to rig the game and got a ratio of almost 3 to 1. The sickos in the lamestream media would have us believe that Biden has the lead.

There were some great speeches and the mood was definitely hopeful for the future. Hope and optimism are what the country needs, not the constant whining about how bad it is. My one disappointment is that the CoronaHoax continues to be given too much credence by the Trump administration. Will it ever be called out? Allowing this hoax to remain unchallenged is our greatest danger. On the bright side, NOBODY at the convention was seen with a mask.

The most powerful speech of the day was from Kimberly Guilfoyle. She is a force of nature. The consensus is that the C-SPAN livestream was the one to watch because there was no interruption of the proceedings by talking heads.

Kenosha boogaloo -- Over the last few weeks of rioting, Antifa and BLM have increasingly been seen wielding guns as they threaten the police and bystanders. The shootings in Kenosha are not an anomaly. It was inevitable that this would happen at some point. Tim Pool rants in the video.

It would be easy to dismiss the Kenosha riots as just more of the same except that this small city of 100,000 did not riot along with the rest of the country after the Floyd thing. The city is about 5.5 hours southeast of Minneapolis, 30 miles south of Milwaukee and 50 miles north of Chicago. The police shooting of Jacob Blake occurred at 5:00 PM on Sunday, August 23. Crowds gathered around the site of the shooting and then they marched to the Kenosha County Public Safety Building where the police department is located. Okay. That's fine. The citizens have a right to protest.

However, the narrative from there starts to seem a little fishy. This small crowd of people, presumably from the area where the shooting took place, attacked the Public Safety Building and inflicted sufficient damage that it had to be closed the next day. Think about that. This is a mere few hundred people who worked themselves up enough to physically attack a building within a few hours of a shooting incident. Minneapolis has a population of over 3 million people (including St. Paul and the suburbs). That there were enough crazies in Minneapolis to burn the place down within a day of the Floyd "killing" is not too hard to believe. I find it hard to believe in the case of Kenosha. Correction: The fires and the looting actually started on Sunday, not on Monday as I initially thought.

It could be that the people were already worked up because of the Floyd Fever but wouldn't they also be more wary of following the example, given the extent of the damages? The last police killing in Kenosha was in 2015 (after ten years of none) and the victim was not black. So why the sudden blowout? The answer is clear: terrorist cells are everywhere, waiting for a spark. They are calling themselves Antifa or BLM today but these cells don't really have a name. We have been warned about this for many years and now we are seeing the proof in Kenosha. A sleepy bedroom community does not just explode like this overnight.

Consider that Kyle Ritterman and two of the three victims were from out of town (about 20 miles distant). How many of the rioters were not Kenoshans? The police arrested members of a group known as Riot Kitchens which has been supplying the rioters in Portland and Seattle (and probably other places). The group claims that they distribute only food and water but we know better than to believe that. It is unknown exactly why Kyle was in Kenosha that night but it is likely that he was responding to an invitation from an impromptu militia group called Kenosha Guards (he was seen associating with them). While Kyle does have a job as a lifeguard at the YMCA in Kenosha, it is clear that he was not there for that.

Word spreads quickly, especially within groups of people who are constantly monitoring social media for calls to action. This was not an organic event. The people of Kenosha were not, in general, monitoring the media for calls to action. They did not want this but they got it anyway. After wrecking the city, the terrorists came face-to-face with a volunteer militia and the result was a double killing. Clashes like this are happening in many other cities but this time it really is starting to look like a civil war. The police stood down and now the people are having to battle the terrorists themselves.

Meanwhile, the demonrats are seeing their support crumbling in the polls and they are trying to backpeddle. They were hoping that the people would be dumb enough to blame President Trump but that is not happening. This will hopefully be put back in the can soon enough. The terrorists are known. Trump just needs the invitation to round them up once and for all. As I have stated before, the Deep State is not only in the seats of power. It is all around us. The riots prove this and Q knows it too.

The movie Cuties, available on Netflix, has caused a lot of controversy. Predictably, the progressive leftists have come out in support of this film. The right has steered away from it. Netflix subscription cancellations have skyrocketed. My opinion: much ado about nothing. See for yourself:

The clips from this movie make it look like it is a celebration of child sexuality but it is nothing of the sort. At the end of the film, the main character is shown to reject her prior rebelliousness (nice ending, by the way). Besides that, the movie runs for 1 hour and 36 minutes. The "twerking scenes" amount to maybe 5% of the running time. Any pedophiles watching this won't be getting much out of it. Sucks to have to say that in defense of what is a fairly mundane production.

Netflix brought this controversy on itself by using suggestive imagery to promote the film. That was either a bad idea or there really is an intent to promote pedophilia. It is unfortunate that this film got caught in the crossfire. Final point: the reason for the main character's rebellious behaviour is that her Muslim father took a second wife. Why is that not a talking point?

Neon Revolt offers his own incendiary take on the film Cuties. He infers a number of hidden motives far beyond the weight of the evidence. I have not seen the other Netflix productions that he mentions so I'll just have to take his word on those (for now).

I am wary of this sudden "wokeness". Final straw that broke the camel's back? Or just a lot of bored people finding something to be angry about? How about getting angry with those who have conspired to destroy your lives and businesses with lockdowns and riots?

How soon we forget -- What about the longstanding controversy over child beauty pageants? Take a look at this video. The kids here are younger than the 11-year-olds in Cuties. They are also less talented so it could have been worse. Girls, young or old, really don't need a lot of encouragement when it comes to this kind of "play acting".

If a film deserves condemnation for portraying young girls in provocative poses then why are the same people not outraged over the beauty pageants that have been doing the same damn thing for the past few decades? Is it the level of exposure? This video got less than 8000 views. Not worth getting upset about, I guess.

Do you recall the murder of JonBenet Ramsey in 1996? The killer has apparently confessed. He is a pedophile. She was a child beauty queen. Put two and two together on that one. It is, of course, not surprising that a pedophile might develop an unhealthy attraction to a young girl exposed in a beauty contest (even without the skimpy clothing).

That is the risk that parents take with these events. Another risk is social media sites (and especially Youtube). Given the chance, young girls will almost inevitably tend to portray themselves in provocative poses even though they may not even realize what they are doing. Call me a misogynist if you want but that is just the nature of the beast.

You might understand now why I don't particularly like the current controversy over Cuties. It's an easy target. Cancelling a subscription is easy. Screaming on Twitter is easy. Actually doing something about the problem is hard. Especially after having turned a blind eye to child exploitation for decades. Not to mention the unmentionable problem of child sex trafficking. It is all fake outrage aimed at a fake target.

Nothing is ever really deleted -- This is interesting. Two years ago, the Health Ranger channel on Youtube was deleted along with thousands of videos. The channel belonged to Mike Adams, proprietor of Natural News and Brighteon. Two months ago, the channel suddenly reappeared. Youtube has not commented so we don't know the motive behind this.

What is interesting is that this highlights a fact about Youtube (and perhaps about the Internet in general). Nothing is ever really deleted. All of those millions of videos and channels that have been targetted in Youtube's censorship sprees are not actually gone. They are merely rendered inaccessible via the Youtube web site. This is not necessarily due to any foresight or concern about preserving history on the part of the Youtube administrators. It is simply a computer fact.

This is how it works. Youtube has billions of videos squirelled away in disk archives all over the planet. These videos are not stored in the same way that you would write files to the hard drive in your own computer. No, the videos are written sequentially on drives with no file system and, thus, no way to overwrite or modify data which has already been written. This is true for two reasons. First, such a storage method is easy to back up. Second, it is faster to access (an important point when streaming to millions of users). What there is of a file system is simply a list of pointers to the starting cluster for each video on each archive disk. It is a static file system. The disk space is allocated forever.

The above is, however, not true for channels. A different storage method is used for those. Youtube can physically delete a channel, just not the videos. Channel information occupies little space compared to the videos. It is probably not worth the effort to bother recovering that space which is why Youtube never bothered to actually delete the Health Ranger channel. This is good to know and historians will be relieved to learn that a major cultural repository is actually pretty safe from the destructive tendencies of the Youtube lefties who would like to delete our history.

Anyway, this is a long lead-in to the news that Youtube has gone mad (again) and deleted some very popular channels. In this CatPaws thread, videos by Amazing Polly, SGT Report and Sarah Westall have been affected. The videos are all available on BitChute with the same Youtube ID. At some point, I will edit the posts to insert the BitChute URL. Just so you know that nothing has actually been lost.

This is a good lesson to our young ones that the media is dishonest and will blatantly lie about poll results when the "wrong" candidate wins. Nickelodeon held a poll and then they deleted more than half of the votes because Trump won. They claim that bots were influencing the vote. Why does everybody keep trotting out this tame flick as an example of modern depravity? I get the "subliminal programming" angle but I still think it is tame. Frog Rock and Free Press of Kekistan -- After pumping out a bunch of great memes in early 2017, these guys got cancelled by Youtube for "hate speech" around the end of April or early May in the same year. The embedded video is the most famous piece and I found five backup copies on Youtube and Bitchute. I have been able to track down a total of ten videos. This is Internet history which is in danger of disappearing altogether since I have found only one backup copy for five of the videos. I have saved all ten and will make an archive in the near future (to be announced).

The Pepe meme features prominently in all of the videos though no reference is ever made to either Q or The Great Awakening. Pepe was inspired by 4chan but Q did not appear till October 2017. President Trump features in just one video. The association of Pepe with the "QAnon movement" is so strong that anything related to Pepe must be deemed historically significant. So it is with these videos. Amazingly enough, though four years have passed, they are nonetheless still relevant. Could it be that not much has really changed in all that time? Kek.

What exactly happened to Frog Rock and Free Press of Kekistan? I have no idea where Frog Rock went or even who was really involved. Free Press appears to have been the work of two individuals who later called themselves Ghastly and AP (Angry Pepe). They created a new channel called Gulf City Live which was also deleted by the cucks at Youtube. A few months later, AP rebranded himself as Adonis Peters and moved to his own channel, The Bluntstream (also since deleted). That all went down in 2018. Ghastly is back at it with a new channel called Gulf City (created in July 2020). I guess he is being careful to not get deleted again by the communists.

In the first video below, Ghastly and AP rant about the cancellation of Gulf City Live. The next two videos are apparently the final two episodes of "Fright Power Hour" which had featured on Gulf City Live. In the last video, AP rebrands himself and moves on.

My response: well, that does it then because I cannot spend a month hunting down everything on his site to re-build it. Adios to him (and I cannot blame him) even "experts" don't know about cloudflare and how it totally destroys your survival on the web, yes it can stave off attacks but there's no way Mercola needed that. Alex probably does with the way his site is set up but 99 percent just use it because it is "free" and "cool".

Anything that can stop "attacks" can be rigged to prevent you from being seen by anyone. If you in alt media, I suggest avoiding cloudflare like the plague unless you have a multi million dollar budget and multiple full time web admins like Alex has. Those people will notice any f***ery going on (that said, when they FINALLY flip the switch they WILL on Alex, and cloudflare will be a key item making that happen.) what I'm seeing (pic rel >>1028) is Mercola walled his articles behind the email subcription/"subscribe to get access". It seems that this is the reason httrack and other scrapers arent working and all he'd have to do is take down the email wall, but then he couldn't use publicity to build his mail list. Not that I know that's what he's doing, maybe he just doesnt have time for tech stuff.

I was able to get the articles in spanish for some reason but I'll have to check how many. Altogether it was around 20 gb, with the english articles all being pics of the email wall. through HTTrack.
