It's easy to be pessimistic regarding the state of "The Internet" today but that is the result of selective memory. There was never a Golden Age. It pretty much always sucked, depending on the currency of your hardware and/or software. We have reached a point where nearly everyone has the means to go online without hitting a performance wall. The World Wide Web did not catch on till around 1995 when owning a computer became feasible for more people than just hobbyists. Still, if you failed to keep up with the annual upgrades (both hardware and software), you got left behind pretty fast. That made the Internet really frustrating for a lot of people. Remembering this period as a Golden Age marks you as a fatuous consumer of the latest and greatest. You know, the sort of people who lined up around the block for the first copy of Windows 95.

I was on "The Internet" around 1980 when it was just a way for computers to connect and not a lifestyle as it has apparently become. If there was ever a Golden Age, it was then, because the technology of the day meant that we were all on equal ground. The 300-baud modem held everybody back, even the giant mainframes. The 1200-baud modem came out soon after with continuous improvement up to 56K where it finally peaked until DSL kicked that up to the stratosphere. During that time, you could still connect at 300-baud if that was all you could afford to use. With ever-increasing connection speeds becoming available, however, the Internet got fatter and fatter with web pages going from a few kilobytes in size to hundreds of kilobytes. Your hardware had to be of a recent vintage else you spent much of your time twiddling your thumbs or sucking on grapes. Not fun for a lot of us. No Golden Age.

The situation has stabilized greatly since then. Even a 10-year-old computer is sufficiently capable to navigate the Internet without wheezing and screeching. For crying out loud, people are using cell phones to get on the Internet. You are all pretty spoiled today. Keep that in mind as you bitch about the state of the Internet. It isn't the hardware which is holding anyone back anymore. It is the myopic view that "The Internet" is Farcebook or Twatter or any number of so-called social media sites which we all need like a thumbscrew in the back of the skull.

Do people really need to be reminded that there have been several pandemic scares over the past two decades? Apparently so, since this "coronavirus" thing is not only getting flailed in the lamestream media but also in the alternative media by folks who ought to know better. Some are saying that this is the "Big One", the one that will finally turn out to be real and not just another fake-out.

These are the earlier scares: SARS in 2002; mad cow (BSE) in 2003; bird flu (H5N1) in 2004; swine flu (H1N1) in 2009.

These are the more recent scares: West Nile in 2012; Ebola in 2014; Zika in 2016; measles in 2018.

The years are approximate, of course, since the scares are not contained within a single year. The more recent ones occurred at two-year intervals, meaning that we were due for a scare in 2020. Well, golly, here we are, right on schedule. This one has been dubbed "Novel coronavirus". If that sounds scary then consider that SARS was also a coronavirus. Fool me once...

The symptoms are very much like the flu, meaning that it is difficult to impossible to prove that it isn't the flu which is going around right now. After all, it is winter in the northern hemisphere (which includes China). Do you really believe that the supposed cases of Novel are proven? Viral infections are incredibly difficult to prove since viruses are incredibly tiny. They can be spotted under an electron microscope but only if you know exactly where to look. It is also time-consuming and very expensive to test every case for a specific virus. What actually happens is that the doctors wager a guess based on the symptoms and the assumed infection vector. You were in Wuhan last weekend? You got the flagship virus, not the common cold or the flu. You can't prove them wrong, after all.

Why so glum, D's? -- This is a bad week for the demonrats. President Trump delivered a powerful SOTU (State of the Union) speech on Tuesday, repeatedly poking a hot stick into the demonrats' eyes. The D's are the party of unlimited immigration, unlimited abortion, economic rape and moral depravity. To be fair, the D's did stand up for the following accomplishments of Trump's presidency: criminal justice reform, lowering of drug prices, tackling the opioid crisis, funding for neo-natal research, paid family leave and rebuilding infrastructure. They scowled and looked defeated whenever the President touched on immigration, abortion or socialism.

The President honoured a string of good Americans, half of whom were black. Rush Limbaugh was awarded the Medal of Freedom. Of course, he already knew that he was in line for that but he did not expect to receive it at the SOTU. The demon-infested media immediately denounced Rush as a racist. They couldn't attack Trump as a racist after he honoured those black Americans so they did the next best thing. So predictable, they are.

And finally, Nancy Pelosi tore up her copy of the speech in front of the entire world. Disgraceful and despicable. That's on top of looking like she ate sour grapes all the way through the speech. Place a towel over the right side of your monitor to avoid looking at her. The R's will, reportedly, seek her censure. They can't just throw her out, unfortunately. Non-Americans looking on must be wondering what the fuck is wrong with the US establishment. This stunt may cost the D's millions of votes.

My original assessment right in the beginning was that the Coronavirus was a basically harmless virus that gave people the sniffles. Now that the cruise ship has played out to more than 550 infected with zero deaths it does not seem plausible that any of it was real, and that instead, China, which definitely had six figure deaths, was merely using a virus as cover for killing dissidents.

Quite a long time ago, I saw an article written by a trained virologist which posed one simple question: has it actually been proven, beyond a reasonable doubt, that viruses are a cause of disease? The short answer was a resounding NO! That is pretty astounding if you think about it. If this has not been proven beyond reasonable doubt then what are those vaccines supposed to do? We have all learned to accept the idea that viruses cause disease. There is another possibility: that viral replication is a response to illness. The media is at it again, using fake or misleading imagery to garner support for the new migrant invasion from Turkey. They are recycling photos and videos from the previous influx of migrants. This is obvious as all hell. The migrants are currently stuck at the border between Greece and Turkey. They are not braving the Meditarranean Sea as the images suggest.

The way it worked is that the NGO's informed the migrants that they would be rescued if they took some frail boats and dinghies out onto the Mediterranean Sea. This is risky since the Mediterranean is not a placid lake. People can die trying to cross it.

The rescue of the migrants was painted in the media as a charitable activity rather than a cynical exploitation of vulnerable people. The deaths that inevitably resulted were publicized by the media to arouse public sympathy. The ploy worked but defeated itself at the same time. It became clear that the migrants were enticed to put their lives in danger for the globalist agenda. The coast guards put a stop to it.

Virus or germ? Am I wrong or just partly wrong?

It's not often that I have to question a personal belief or preconception. I accept that my memory can be faulty, especially when recalling information from decades ago. The so-called Mandela Effect is a symptom of the fuzzy nature of human memory. Was it "Looney Toons" or "Looney Tunes"? For that matter, was it "Loony" or "Looney"? I know for a fact that it was "Looney Tunes" for the simple reason that I was a young teenager when those silly music videos featuring dancing cartoon characters were still being shown on Saturday mornings. I made the connection between those early cartoons and the title "Looney Tunes". Same with "Sex and the City" on which I did a double-take at the time so I know it wasn't "Sex in the City". I don't have a recollection on "Berenstain Bears" but the reason why people think it was "Berenstein" is two-fold. First of all, "ain" is very rare compared to "ein". Secondly, a lot of people made the same mistake at the time the series was popular and so a lot of historical references contain the wrong spelling. I could go on but that is not what this post is about.

In any case, like the contrarian that I am, I will reiterate that there is no proof that viruses cause illness. Correlation is not necessarily causation. If viruses multiply in response to illness then finding viruses in connection with the common cold is not surprising but it also does not prove that the viruses caused the illness. The situation is pretty murky because bacteria are always involved at some stage so might not they also be the cause? For that matter, is there even a microbial cause in the first place? Could it be simply a physiological imbalance caused by diet? We are what we eat, as the saying goes. Colour me skeptical that so many illnesses and conditions are always being blamed on viruses or bacteria when the junk that we eat could be the root cause. Might there be an agenda there? Sure. Medicines and vaccines are big business. It is silly and downright dangerous to assume that what we are being told is not motivated by money. At the risk of being wrong, I will continue to be skeptical of everything and I mean EVERYTHING.

Struggling to keep up

I have over two dozen bookmarks to Youtube and Bitchute channels as well as numerous news sites. It is all too much to follow on a regular basis. I fall behind a lot. There are only a few places that I check on daily because they help to separate the wheat from the chaff. Still, there are some people out there who have a LOT to say and I'd like to hear them out but, damn, even following two of them is hard. If I can't keep up even with all the time that I have on my hands, then the situation is hopeless for a working person.

I think that the problem is that the news tends to get amplified beyond its actual importance because everyone has their eyeballs on more clicks and more advertising. Every time somebody coughs, it's a news item on the coronavirus. Every time there is a fist fight, it's a news item on Antifa or the Bernie Bros. Is it really necessary to give air time to EVERY little thing that happens? It's a big world and NOBODY has the time to care about even a tiny fraction of what goes on.

This is why seemingly insignificant events become trend setters on Twitter or Google. Even the computer algorithms cannot figure out what is worthwhile to flag. Dumb shit somehow makes it to the top of the recommendations for no particular reason and then it just snowballs. Stuff that is actually worth knowing gets passed over. It starts to look a lot like censorship even when there is no attempt at such. The public gets dumber and dumber.

There is no solution, I think. The best that I can do is try to keep my eyes open and, when I find something worthwhile, I can post it here. It might help out the few lost souls who make their way to my humble board.

Remembering Y2K

The coronavirus scam is starting to remind me of the Y2K "crisis". I recall the night of December 31, 1999, as my daughter and I sat in front of the television, watching the New Year's Eve celebration and awaiting the stroke of midnight. She had candles laid out in preparation for the moment when we would be plunged into darkness. Needless to say, that didn't happen and her disappointment was evident.

I think a lot of people were disappointed when their worst fears were not realized at the turn of the century. Planes did not fall out of the sky, pacemakers did not zap their owners, electronic equipment did not freeze up leaving us staring at a row of zeroes, the electric current kept on flowing, the banks did not suddenly have a negative balance, etc. The number of whimsical tales of woe told about the arrival of the Great Crash was breathtaking and most of it was silly to the extreme (like the pacemaker story). Computer engineers, oh my goodness, even computer software engineers who surely ought to know better were some of the frontrunners of that crazy panic for the hills. After Y2K passed quietly, they slithered away, never to be heard from again.

As a professional computer programmer at the time, I had numerous arguments with people who could not comprehend that computers don't work the way they thought they did. The thing with computers storing the current year as a pair of digits is certainly a possibility but no self-respecting programmer would write code that way. For example, 8 bits is sufficient to cover a 256-year span if you really want to pinch bits but it is a drop in the bucket compared to the masses of data unrelated to time-keeping. Would it not be silly if a computer program truncated your name to two characters in order to save space?

So now, with the coronavirus, we have medical professionals predicting doom and gloom just like the oracles of the nineties were portending the disaster of a lifetime. Why should these sorts of dire predictions be any more believable now? No doubt, the most visible prognosticators will slink away quietly once all is said and done. Mark my words. Just as I predicted only a week ago that Harvey Weinstein would be diagnosed with coronavirus (my, that was quick).

2) Chinese spies at Harvard University. So what? There are spies everywhere. Is Q suggesting that these particular spies had something to do with the virus or the response to it?

For the record, a loss of 21 million users from a user population of 1.6 billion is about 1.3%, which I call a rounding error. It is not useful to draw far-reaching conclusions from such a slim statistic. Is Q saying that millions really died in China? Note that this doesn't necessarily mean that they died from the virus.

4) The remainder of Q's post is the part that I have the biggest issue with. Q is suggesting that the pandemic is all about the 2020 Presidential Election? Wut? A global pandemic scare for a local election? Is that it? Not an attempt to collapse the world economy or something like that? Wut???

Anyway, it is good that Q has finally addressed the issue but I'm not feeling reassured. At least he isn't saying that we are all gonna die.

These "pandemics" generated more memes and jokes than any real health concern. The difference now is that governments, both local and national, are getting in on the action like never before. They have enlisted all sorts of shady people to help the panic along. Supposed medical experts are getting air time 24/7 to fearmonger the public.

There are stories about hospitals getting overwhelmed even as videos keep showing up on Youtube proving that it is business as usual. It has reached the point where people are becoming hypochondriac, insisting that they must have come down with the coronavirus because they caught a bad cold. The fraudulent test kits keep turning up false positives (or, as one story goes, not enough positives). I suspect that the "test kits" are a placebo. Better to assure people that they do, indeed, have the coronavirus than try to convince them that they don't. Like I said: hypochondriac.

I speculated earlier that this coronavirus may have been with us for a long time. New species of flora and fauna are constantly being discovered. How do you get that many mutations in just a matter of months? This "new" virus has been around for much longer than a few months or a year. We all have it, some of us in sufficient quantity to test positive even without any symptoms. Imagine that. The world is in a panic over a little virus that has always been here.

I followed the Y2K hype throughout the 90's so I saw firsthand how it got progressively more extreme as people tired of the constant reminder. Starting with mainframes and then encompassing personal computers, the stories began to include microwave ovens and pacemakers, despite how ludicrous. Some writers were actually pretty convincing, to the point that you had to shake yourself back to reality. The same is happening with the coronavirus hype. The fanatics who pushed the Y2K crap had a common pattern of behaviour. As their claims got more frantic, people started to push back. Balderdash. These Twatter twits clearly lack any ability to read body language (it takes empathy to do that). Yes, the judge's demeanor was clearly off but accusing her of being drunk says more about the accuser than about the accused. I would say that she was distracted and stressed about something, possibly a family matter. She was doing her show from her home, which accounts for the technical difficulties. This potential treatment should have been discussed during the previous pandemic scares but never was. Even if this compound is only effective against coronavirus, well, SARS is a coronavirus. Dave of X22 Report has been on a roll lately. I've been trying to figure out the meaning of Trump's moves regarding the Federal Reserve. The embedded video explains it pretty well. Essentially, the Fed is being used to cancel the US government debt. The Fed has always been a fraud, protected by layers of obscure rules and regulations. Panic is the Contagion -- It no longer matters whether the coronavirus is real or not. The response is far more destructive and/or transformative. During this point in time when so many have been rendered idle, questions are being asked and answers are being sought. How did Team Q get the media to turn around?

I alluded earlier to the possibility that the Q team started the coronavirus panic by the simple expediency of alerting the media to a previously unknown virus in Wuhan, China. That is entirely within the realm of possibility and it could have been done by anybody. The harder part is getting the media machine of the entire world to cooperate with the scam. Almost as if a switch was thrown. After that, it was all doom and gloom. The Fox News evening line-up of Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham became a non-stop coronavirus fear porn circus as if nothing else mattered any more. But how? Did Team Q call in some favours by virtue of having arrest warrants dangling over, well, just about everybody? Your guess is as good as mine but somehow the media was forced to play ball. As for the rest of the world, some places are more corrupt than others (like Italy). Whether they started to cooperate before or after the US media, I don't know. All that matters now is that they are.

This is totally the opposite of how it went with the previous pandemic scares. The media would whoop up a storm at the beginning and then gradually let it drop after six months or so. Quite reasonably, the Deep State never wanted the scares to get out of hand. They needed only just enough to convince people to take their toxic drugs and vaccines. That's it. Pushing it to the point of hysteria can only harm the Deep State by exposing them. Which is what is happening now. If this is a Deep State operation then they sure as hell fucked themselves good.

Never let a crisis go to waste, as the saying goes. With the media on board, the governments of the world each saw an opportunity to play dictator. The motivations vary, depending on the level of corruption. It's pretty easy to see who the crooks are. They will be remembered once this is over.

Gone will be the daily front-page obituaries announcing yet another round of coronavirus deaths, endless speculations on the coming total collapse of civilization as we know it, drones and government hooligans telling everyone to stay inside like we don't know how to take care of ourselves after having studied countless pandemic tutorials (while on a diet of heavily salted popcorn). It is almost as if Q was baiting Neon Revolt! It has been long understood by Q followers that "disinfo is necessary" but many do not also understand that the disinfo is sometimes aimed at them. If you're a Q follower who has been having serious doubts and you get pissed enough to swear off Q because of post #3917 then I have this to say: mission...fucking...accomplished! Stay out of the bakery.

That post may have many different meanings and purposes. Laying the groundwork for future revelations? Maybe. Giving the lamestream media a target to aim at? Maybe. Smoking out the faithless Q promoters? Maybe. An indirect reference to the fake pandemic scare? Maybe. It could be all of these and much more. Q does not post frivolously. This is a carefully designed psychological operation and we are all potential targets in this war for the public mind.

I have never promoted Q prior to the coronavirus scare. I watched and I waited for a time when Q would become impossible to ignore. This is that time. The pandemic scare makes no sense when compared to any of the previous pandemic scares going back decades. This one is radically different. This is the pandemic that the Deep State has always fantasized about but had neither the ability nor the nerve to actually pull off. Q done it. It is not necessary (or even desirable) to decode or deconstruct every goddamn Q post in order to understand that we are living inside of the greatest military operation of all time.

Watch this through to the end. You chicken shits think that you can appease the government? You think that the government is there to protect you? They will come for you if you let them. They won't if they believe that you are ready to fight back. That is it. That is all.

Some legitimate questions being asked here. Why is Trump doing what he is doing? Why should we trust Q? These questions have been asked and answered but most people are not in a position to see that. What goes on in /qresearch/ too often stays in /qresearch/. I have said it before and I got shut down for it. I'll say it now. There is a failure to communicate. Nobody has the time to slog through gigabyte-size files or millions of documents to get at the truth. Nobody has the patience to pore over maps and graphs and proofs with squiggly lines all over them. People have jobs and real world concerns.

This is why the "Qanon community" has been losing the battle for the public mind. Yes, I know where the data lies. It is in multiple databases so large that I cringe at the thought of sifting through even a small portion of it. I know about Wikileaks but I won't be conducting a search there any time soon. All of the hours of the day are not enough to even begin to find, let alone absorb, the volumes of research that have accumulated since Q hit the 'net in 2017.

So where are all the "autists" who were tasked by Q to explain to the "normies" what this gig is all about? They are hiding here and there and speaking pretty much only to themselves. There are some public faces like Joe M and Praying Medic who preach the gospel of Q but they can't really go much beyond that without getting banned from their platform. Nonetheless, Joe M did just get banned from Twatter for basically nothing so now he's on Gab preaching to the choir. Neon Revolt has his own web site where he can say anything that he bloody well wants but even that doesn't help because the place is basically just another giant data dump. Who fucking cares what the Payseurs or the Rothschilds have been up to? Give me info that I can use, not a boring history lesson. Know what I mean?

Failure to communicate. Simple questions are being asked and they deserve simple answers. Maybe I have some of those answers and maybe I don't. Does it matter? There is nobody here but me. Sad.
