https://github.com/fatum2/fatum-en/blob/master/docs/fatum_theory.txt

theory and source code for fatum bot

The Fatum Project was born as an attempt to research unknown spaces outside predetermined probability-tunnels of the holistic

world and has become a fully functional reality-tunnel creating machine that digs rabbit holes to wonderland.

feel free to reverse image search

this isnt close to our best find

basically we generate attractor points using qnrg and visit these random places to break out of predetermined probability tunnel

It consists of technical, causal and memetic parts

use bot to generate attractor points using quantum random number generator, visit these locations and break out of your predetermined reality tunnel

I don't know if this concept is incredibly smart or ridiculously stupid, but I have to admit, quite a bit of work seems to have gone into it, and it's at least an interesting thought experiment. Do you really need to use a quantum random number generator though? There are simpler and more accessible ways of picking a random location.

I guess the meme is true, I had to lend my car the whole day. Then, when I got it back, I had to go to a meeting. On the way back, I wanted to go to the place the bot sent me, but I accidentally bumped into another car and had to pull off and speak with the other driver. After that, I was pissed so I just went home. Will try again tomorrow.

Not op but, as it's written on the readme:

1)Install .Net Framework 4.6.2. if you haven't.

2)Clone (or download zip of) the git.

3)Set all necessary parameters in the config.txt file

4)Start Fatumbot.exe (Bot will be functioning while it runs)

As far as I remember, only real thing I had to change at config.txt was the telegram bot token. To get one, you just have to send a message to @BotFather on telegram. You name your bot and give it an adress. Then you send /getquantum or some other command to it from your cellphone or whatever

No, we're trying to break from probability as a whole, that's why true random is required. Random number generators are not truly random, they're just not easily predictable, that's where the quantum comes in.

Some roastie wrote an article about this program, saying that it literally changed her life for the better in every way: after trying Fatum once, people started treating her better, she got many job offers, free money in the mail, and a lot more traffic to her articles. I'm not sure what to think of this. Even assuming we live in a simulation and we have no free will and this program lets us break free of our predetermined path, why would it have a positive effect on our life?

Anyway, I decided to archive the article, so you can read it without giving her further attention:

Well this program's actually pretty simple despite its premise, to the point where their writing style suggests they're absolute beginners who just figured out how to disguise a simple Telegram RAT as a quantum-woo bot.

For those who won't want to take the time to learn what "Telegram.Bot.Types.InputFiles.InputOnlineFile" or "message.From.FirstName.ToString" means, this thing:

>Dumps your full name (or whatever you told Telegram your name is) to the logs, along with your physical location in the form of a Russian Wikimapia link.

>Along with the "intended" use, listens for the command "mnts DEFAULTKEY12345" and enables "mnts" commands when sent, and tells the victim that the Fatum devs enabled maintenance mode. The key is changeable for deniability purposes, though very few people are going to do so.

>Allows attackers to send "mnts fetch [file]" to read files, in most cases the log.txt that has your name and a ready-to-read map link to your address in the attacker's native language.

>Allows attackers to send "mnts whosthere [folder path]" to get folder contents.

>Allows attackers to send "mnts whereami" to get the program directory and find the logs without having to dig around with whosthere.

Of course someone might try to defend it as a debugging tool, but why have the ability to check any directory instead of only fetch log.txt from where the config says it is? And why log users' full names?

It still has the name and location grabber and the remote file viewer, download at your own risk.

So apparently Fatum is connected to a LARP called "thegame23", "Project 2020" and "The Metagame". It is a self-proclaimed "open-source ARG" and "meme magic reality hacking wargame". The amount of material created for this LARP is huge, spread out over multiple social media pages, subreddits, blogs, Pastebin links, Google Docs full of lore, and miscellaneous links I don't have the time to go through. It just hit me that despite the author's name being Jamal Yusuf and living in Charlotte NC the logged map links with the locations commands are sent from have a query string telling Wikimapia to set its language to Russian. The blog linked on his Github has been inactive for four years, and his Github itself was barely active for three years, until he posted Fatum.

There's also a liability clause. If someone gets your information from the bot, then you willingly gave it to them according to the agreement.

It's probably unironically a Russian intelligence agency.

>get anons to engage in reality-bending LARP

>nevermind the actual potential of the notion

>say the coordinates are based on groups of random locations

>it's really just intelligence targets they want to probe

>random anons go to those locations, take photos, and send back to Russian controllers

I checked, the RNG itself isn't rigged and it's pulled from the Australian National University. Fatum just logs your name and location in addition to being a random coordinate generator. If anything, the users themselves are the intelligence targets.
