I had this strange experience when I was twelve and I need help making some sort of sense of it, it doesn't keep me up at night but this is something so obscure and weird it horrifies me more than any other paranormal encounters I've read of or have experienced.

When I was twelve sometime during 1 in the night I decided to go to the bathroom in my new apartment, I still live here. At the time, for background I was obsessed with maggots and botflies, it was my new fear. I wasn't really scared of it but it was stuck in my mind.

By the way I'm not greentexting this, this is not a story I need actual answers.

I has walked to the bathroom to pee, and ended up looking to the side. On my shoulder I saw a maggot, about 1-2 inches in length. Fucking gigantic, The best way to describe it was, very similar to an antlion grub from Half Life, pic related.

It wasn't exactly the same, I made a drawing to show it better.

It was long and skinny, thin. It wasn't a spectrum from white to bright greenish yellow, it was once sole mixed bright color, it has two red dots on it's head. Those were not eyes though, other maggots have those on them, but I forget their function. I'm inferring the eyes are very small and near the mouth but I never saw the face. Out of fear I blew it away.

But I never found the carcass, and keep in mind that it was an inch long, easy to find.

I saw it clear ass day, MOVING too, Sort of like a Caterpillar I want to say but the entire thing was so surreal and my memory alters a lot, I can't say correctly. I don't remember how it felt, I don't even think I could feel it.

Was I hallucinating?

What the hell happened? Can anyone give me closure?

I know this sounds fake but trust me I lived through this, I can't offer any evidence, except maybe a photo of my bathroom but that won't help whatsoever. Please help me /x/.

Also sorry for the typos.

Before anyone asks "Why does this scare you?"

Because it's so unnatural and has no explanation.

Flashgaits, skin walkers, ghosts, reptilians, telepathic communications, all have multiple cases, with identified traits, we've made logic of them. But this. This happened solely to me. There is nothing. No explanation, not even a full case. I am alone and left questioning what could have happened to me if I hadn't killed that thing, or what did happen to me and I didn't even notice.

I'd say it was just a hallucination.

Your story reminds me of an occurrence that happened to me where I was eating dinner home alone after school when I was young, I stood up from the living room and went to bring the dishes to the kitchen when suddenly from my right I vaguely saw like a big, black, long haired dog go really fast just in front of me to the left of me. It went so fast it was a blur in my bottom peripheral vision and I'm pretty sure I even felt the breeze of it going there. I just froze in place with my plates in my hand thinking what just happened and then went to check my room which was in the direction the dog was going but obviously nothing was there anymore. It didn't make any noise either. Then immediately after when I put my plates down on the kitchen counter I felt and even heard a plastic cheese wrapper like object like pic related without the cheese under my feet but I didn't see anything even when I crouched down to really look for it.

Your story also reminds me of a friends story where he came to the top of the stairs in his previous home when he was young, he swears he saw a severed hand at the bottom of the stairs. He flinched at the sight and when he looked again it was gone.

We both never had any paranormal or weird occurrences after or before those either.

It wasn't only for a moment though, I looked at it for 3 seconds DIRECTLY and it was right there moving, I brushed it away quickly, I don't know how hallucinations last that long.

 No.33063

I brushed it away and it was still physically there, it never left until I looked away. Fairly sure I killed it, yet no carcass was found.

Did you feel it with your hand when you brushed it away?

I honestly don't remember any more.

I want to say yes, but I have doubt.

I vaguely remember it, yes.

isn't it convenient to just say things are hallucinations? If its possible to completely experience something as if it were real.. then what the fuck does that make any of this shit? Srs son.. theres more to things than you think.

Well as an avid sleepwalker since a very young man and as a person very interested but not well-read on psychology, I have to say that human brains and mind are something else. It can create anything in front of your eyes if it wants to. It can create whole worlds, scenarios and stories in your dreams. It can see things on something where there is nothing. And the list goes on.

I don't want to be the cunted nofun skeptic guy but considering the fact >>33057 in his story is 12, it's 1 in the night which means he's most likely woken up from sleep to go to the bathroom and he is seeing a maggot on his shoulder while he is in a phase where he is obsessed with maggots and it disappears in seconds most likely because he flinches out of fear which causes his brain to clear up from the sleeping state because of adrenaline, I'd say OP is just freaking out over nothing basically. My experiences resemble his too and I vaguely remember same kind of situations like OP's where as a kid I would see something, then flinch and it would be gone all in a matter of seconds.

It all just seems so weird, and I was tired at the time so I'm not ruling it out as a possibility.

>>33070

No I was actually staying up during the weekend I still do, I'm a night person.

And it wasn't just for a moment, I remember it well enough, I looked at it for 3-5 seconds directly and it never left, I directly brushed it off and once it fell I lost it.

Another detail is that I live in New York so my apartment is infested. Hell a cockroach just moved past me right now, I have two mice fucking with me.

I have had like 5 silverfish in the same spot at different dates, (which is another mystery.) so it might have been a silverfish or moth on my shoulder. It was white but a bit greener than a regular small white butterfly/moth and whiter than silverfishes.

What I cannot identify is that I saw no distinct line indicating wings and legs, or a shell, it was smooth like a maggot and had two red dots. Not to mention I never saw the body. It was gone halfway before hitting the ground.

 No.33073

>>33072

Well those details complicate the issue but if you really want closure, I would put it under the fact that you were tired and afraid of maggots all the while living in an infested apartment. I don't think it can be explained with skinwalkers or MKUltra.

Probably was just a very strong hallucination combined with numbness and blurred vision, there probably was no bug of any sort there.

Still, the entire scenario still horrifies me.

Well it's 5 am I gotta go to bed, thanks anyways, guess that's all there is to it.

If it disappeared before hitting the ground, I have to agree with the sceptic anon, it was most likely a hallucination. I remember reading that they're more common than most people think, and children are especially susceptible. But maybe you just blinked at the same time as it was falling and didn't see where it landed. You could try asking on a forum for entomologists (experts on insects), give them the description of the thing you saw and maybe they'll be able to identify it. If it's a species that lives around your area, it would confirm that it was real. I had a similar experience when I was a child, I remember seeing some kind of bright green worm/caterpillar thing, about 4-5 centimetres long. Completely green and smooth, it looked almost slimy. It was twisting itself around a stick. It's strange, I've always had this memory, but I've never been sure if it actually happened. I've never seen anything like that again.

It wasn't exactly like that but that's a good visual representation.

>>33080

It was a figure of speech, I just lost it once I sent it flying.

Did the caterpillar have red spots and was light greensih yellow?
