It's not entitlement, it's common sense. There's zero reason to nuke a gallery to move on when it's the internet and you can make a new account with a new username for free at any time. You're doing extra work simply to deprive people of seeing things you've already shared, there's no benefit or extra anonymity to it, since everybody who remembers you isn't going to suddenly forget when you delete the gallery. True, it is their stuff and they can do it whenever they want, it's just needlessly destructive and serves no purpose.
