Wtedy natomiast do mnie dotarło z że nie jestem czułym, dobrym człowiekiem marzącym tylko o tym żeby wszyscy byli szczęśliwi. Śniąca królewna Śnieżka we mnie zderzyła się z bezdusznymi, złymi, chciwymi, egoistycznymi mężczyznami chcący posiadać kobiety, pieniądze, ludzi, nie chcieli ich szczęścia tylko ich posiadania. Mentalni geje. Zło tego świata. Wtedy wpadłam w czarną rozpacz. Spotkałam się z cieniem. Wyewoluowałam mentalnie do zostania ich najgorszym, gnojonym uosobieniem - kurwą za pieniądze, udawana miłość. Też zaspokajało mi to potrzebę bliskości, ale też potrzebę niszczenia tego świata w postaci niszczenia swojego zajebistego potencjału. Zrobiłam co mogłam żeby jakoś znaleźć ukojenie. Chciałam być jak Peterson, a teraz pojawił się Griffith. W końcu wczoraj drugi raz kliknęłam w reklamę, bo za pierwszym razem byłam zjarana i przerwałam oglądanie. Jego reklama dziwnie często mi się pojawiała jakby gościu specjalnie forsował to ludziom żeby ich ocalić. Dziękuję mu za to.

It’s a fascinating argument, and a tempting one. Like Smith, I’m fascinated by very early computers, which are ultimately far more interesting than the machine I’m using to write this review. The Jacquard loom, the Leibniz machine, the Babbage engine: these devices seem to point the way to an alternative internet, something very different to the one we actually have. At one point Smith mentions Ramon Llull, a hero of mine and a major influence on Leibniz’s first doctoral dissertation, who invented a mechanical computer made of paper which he imagined could help us understand the nature of God. What would our internet look like if it had kept to its thirteenth-century purpose? Well, Smith suggests, maybe it would look like Wikipedia, “this cosmic window I am perched up against, this microcosmic sliver of all things.”
The Internet Is Not What You Think It Is is, well, not what you think it is. Some online reviewers have been surprised by this book: they expected a pointed screed about how the internet is ruining everything, and instead they get an erudite, quodlibetical adventure through the philosophy of computation. They wanted to be told that the internet is a sudden, cataclysmic break from the world we knew, and they get a “perennialist genealogy,” an account of how things are “more or less stable across the ages.” It’s not as if Smith has failed to properly consider the opposite position. The Internet Is Not What You Think It Is grew out of an essay in The Point magazine, titled “It’s All Over,” which was also about the internet but struck a very, very different tone. “It has come to seem to me recently that this present moment must be to language something like what the Industrial Revolution was to textiles.” The piece was, he writes, “the closest thing to a viral hit I’ve ever produced.” Strangely, one of the things the internet likes is essays about how awful and unprecedented the internet really is. Online essays feed off rupture. Maybe the sustained intellectual activity that comes with writing a book reveals the connections instead: the way things all seem to hang together in an invisible net. Theodor Adorno describes thought as a kind of hypertext, a network, a web:

"The Newsweek company has been independent from the Olivet organization since the separation from IBT Media. Johnathan Davis has had no role in the management of Newsweek after the split," the spokesperson said. "Any association Davis and his wife have maintained with Olivet is their personal matter."
Olivet emailed a statement to Newsweeksaying, "The DHS visit was based on misinformation. In fact, the raid ended with agents apologizing. The money laundering charges and all felony charges have been dismissed and the case is fully resolved as a misdemeanor matter."
Olivet also said that Tracy Davis was Academic Dean until November 2021 and "currently holds no role in the university."
Tracy Davis and Olivet President Matthias Gebhardt did not respond to requests for comment made via their Olivet emails and LinkedIn messages. Emails and calls to IBT Media and Olivet University corporate telephone lines and email addresses went unanswered.

After Khashoggi's death, Erdogan's government released drip-by-drip details of the murder that deeply embarrassed the Saudi crown prince.

The court's decision drew strong protests from Khashoggi's Turkish fiancee, Hatice Cengiz, but it paved the way for a visit to Saudi Arabia by Erdogan three weeks later when he hugged the crown prince.

"You should be ashamed," he said, addressing the Turkish president.

A Turkish official indicated that the sides will discuss a range of issues that include cooperation between banks and support for small and medium-sized businesses.
