Waldemar Bonkowski, były senator Prawa i Sprawiedliwości został oskarżony o znęcanie się nad zwierzęciem ze szczególnym okrucieństwem. W marcu b.r. przywiązał swojego psa, 8-letnią Zoję, do haka holowniczego i ciągnął za samochodem. Kaźń zwierzęcia sfotografował kierowca innego pojazdu. Akt oskarżenia w tej sprawie trafił do sądu. – W toku prowadzonego postępowania ustalono, że oskarżony Waldemar B. przywiązał psa do haka holowniczego pojazdu, ruszył, zwiększając prędkość tak, że pies nie nadążył za samochodem – wyjaśnia Grażyna Wawryniuk, rzecznik prasowy Prokuratury Okręgowej w Gdańsku. – W pewnym momencie pies przewrócił się i był ciągnięty po jezdni. Doznał urazu mechanicznego obrażeń narządów wewnętrznych skutkujących niewydolnością krążeniowo-oddechową, w wyniku której zmarł – dodaje pani prokurator.
