Ta kolejność w postępie rozwoju gospodarki jest mocno uproszczona. Tak to działa jeśli najpierw rolnictwo jest zmechanizowane i zchemizowane. Potem przemysł jest zrobotyzowany. Wtedy ludzie mogą robić już tylko w usługach, bo wszystko przejmują maszyny.
W Polsce w latach 90-tych Balcerowicz i jego kolesie chcieli sprzedać Polaków, więc musieli wkręcić bajkę, że przemysł to poprzednia epoka i teraz usługi. Tylko, że zamiast przemysł zrobotyzować, żeby się naturalnie zgodnie z rozwojem zmniejszył (ale nadal by był, bo jest mega ważny i musi być), to wszystko wyprzedał.
