Seems to me Cyberpunk was engineered to fail from the start, so that CDPR will be forced to sell themselves out, or at least a majority of shares to some other corporate entity more aligned to what EA, Activision and Ubisoft are.
They were giving away too much for the price when compared to what the Big 3 normally do. They were also so frequently mentioned positively all over normie internet spaces when the subject of the Big 3 is brought up.
I was told that CDPR became publicly traded company, and with that, a lot of decisions from the top started to become more influenced less by game developers, and more by shareholders. Ironic though for a game that was supposed to be critique about corporate overreach.
The hiring standards also started becoming questionable when it became public. Did the CEO and the directors caved in to the infestation of woke corporate practices that they felt forced to hire less on merit and more on 'diversity'?
The demoralization of the Western corporate world knows no bounds, and no company is safe, apparently.

I honestly doubt any company plans to fail. They probably went public because they thought they needed more money than they had, and they went woke like all other corporations because theres one way pressure from journalists, regular and social media. They could very well just be bought out and I think a lot of the founding employees already left so good riddance. EA or microsoft would do the same they do to everyone they buy and thats shut them down after one failure
