Ubisoft is losing a lot of people and this is probably one of the major ones out of all of them. He says Wild and Beyond Good and Evil 2 are doing good without him but I'm not so sure. Hasn't BG&E2 been in development hell for a long time? The only major updates were from those E3 trailers and that it was crowdsourcing assets they paid to put in the game. Gods & Monsters (or whatever that new game name is) is coming out before the more anticipated Beyond Good & Evil 2. I just doesn't look good for the future of Ubisoft.

Seems like implicit cancellation of BG&E2. The whole project seemed to be misjudged from the get-go, and wasn't going anywhere anyway.
