The game's definitely hit and miss. Did we really need another generic collectahon platformer out of Rare at that point in the console's life cycle though? The game's at least memorable. The Great Mighty Poo, becoming a vampire bat and terrorising villagers, riding around on a T-Rex and eating cavemen, recreating the opening to Saving Private Ryan. It's got a lot of good moments. I like the absurdism. I like hearing the Rare guys voicing silly characters. I like that general vibe of British lads having a laugh that the game has about it.

I don't think there even are that many explicitly sweary characters in the game. Most of them are just goofy. The drunk scarecrow, or the panther king who hinges his entire plot on mending a table so he doesn't spill his milk. Those are just funny things in themselves. It's not all puerile sex and violence humour.

it was a great game, the shooting sections were way ahead of their time. zombie section has better controls than RE4, lol.
