The Epic Games store offered Tacoma for free (from the studio that made Gone home) a few days ago, so I got it. It was not precisely a game, it was a minimally interactive story, and comically sjw in its "casting". It was quite short also, I don't know if it would have been enjoyable if it had dragged on further though…
But I actually enjoyed it. It was OK IMHO. What does /v/ think, if anyone on /v/ actually "played" it (moar liek watched it play out)

They named it Tacoma for a stupid reason, they were going to make a game that took place in Tacoma Washington, but they realized they were making Gone home again, so they made a game in space, but kept the name Tacoma anyway

The should make a sequel to gone home, called gun home.
It's the same game, but you have a gun.

What irks me is that.. it COULD have easily been an actual game. The story that you gradually uncover is that they have an… accident. Then they realized they are running out of oxygen, so they make some hacks to extend the oxygen and try and fail to make a scape vehicle. They shoul have make it so the oxygen supply fails again and you get clues of how to fix it and how to finish the scape vehicle. Then you have actually some stakes and something to do other than eavesdropping other people. And it would buff the gameplay time. But they made it an almost completely pasive exercise.
