REPORTING IN.
Video is the same, but they've filled in the interlacing plus a neural upscale. There's funky artifacts in motion but it literally couldn't be better without remaking them.
Updated controls (optional) include right-clicking but there's no move-attack command, so gameplay is exactly the same for better or worse. Camera can be zoomed in but it won't zoom out beyond the original game (this one sucks). You can switch to the old graphics and back with the Spacebar.
Mission selection screen is cool, as was the first launch (EVA installer updating the UI to 4k. It was a nice touch).
Haven't unlocked any bonus content, but apparently there's a bunch of outtakes and such that I'm interested in seeing.
Remade music is hit or miss.
Overall, if you're going to play C&C, it might as well be this one.

You select and click on an individual enemy to attack it, then repeat. They'll also shoot at things in their range when not following a move order. It's all very inefficient.

They should have done an overhaul instead of a remaster. And while they are at it, cramp it all into one game too instead of this. The original experience is nice and all, but I could have already experienced it anytime I wanted to. The remaster is pointless, its not modern enough to be worth it.

zipped through normal with fing trainer, it's gud - way better than openra for singleplayer, but don't expect a modern game, it's mechanics are stuck in the 90s. that being said, i still had fun. 1st decent c&c in a long time…

Bad news
After finishing the whole thing with a trainer, I can confirm that the bonus content, ostensibly the only reason this remaster has value, is nothing more than the raw greenscreen footage plus a few photos of Westwood people. No commentary, no interviews, nothing that justifies this crap. What a fucking let down.
