MTG isn't a bad game. You just either have your friends, who build fun decks like you and enjoy the game, or there are the fat or transfag neckbeards who play their cancer decks where every second card is worth 50-100 bucks, and they wasted ALL of their first and only job's salary on just that deck. And their parents are happy that getting outside and talking to people is their freak son's only normal attribute, so they enforce their shitty hobby. Those scum players also have no success in life or socially, so it's their only source of success, meaning they are terrible, cocky assholes while playing. And you know you can't beat them and make them cry like the pussies they are, because they paid to win.
I play Cockatrice and only buy what turns out fun these days. Magic Arena isn't the same. To me, virtual MTG is antisocial or for Youtube casuals who act like they know everything about the game despite starting in 2018. MTG is best enjoyed with friends and booze.

I started a couple of months ago playing mtg arena, the game seemed interesting at first but now it is just like you said.
I should quit playing it, i'm not enjoying it at all. Even if i win, it's still frustrating. I was thinking of buying one of those "Game Night" boxes and try to play with some friends, but by now i have become so disgusted by this card game i don't want give a cent to them.
