Oh wow, I'm actually making a similar mod, but it's hopefully going to be a lot more extensive. I changed a lot of the dialogue for wanderers, and reintroduced/edited dialogue for women players when they encounter lords. Though this guys seems kind of wordy, which I'm trying to avoid.
Attempting to make women do less damage too, and trying to make it less likely for NPC females to lead armies.

In the Greek case it might not actually be mechanically inferior. Consider that the shoulders are more or less exposed. Deflecting blows away from center means more cuts to the exposed arms which they didn't really have the technology to protect. That's correct, but fighting isn't armwrestling. Women biologically have weaker upper body strength, in average, compared to men. Swinging a two pound piece of metal for a significant amount of time is tiring, and even moreso to women who would be in a disadvantaged position in any prolonged combat; of course if you'd let her bash you in the head, you would die, but, speaking by averages, it'd be easier to disarm and overpower a female combatant than male.

It's not just strength. Women are biologically unsuited to fighting, and arguably even pure strength training. Female powerlifters consistently urinate themselves during exercises. Combat, especially medieval combat, isn't a glorious knightly affair like people like to fantasize. Fighting was a small albeit brutal part of it, but the lion's share of it was spending months, sometimes years in extremely unhygienic and hostile environment. It's easy to say that 99,9% of women wouldn't be able to handle it, if not physically then mentally. Even today, this tiny outlier of female soldiers who were deployed alongside men and actually acquired a semblance of parity, do not recommend deployment of females.
tl;dr women didn't fight, it's a fantasy of weak men and feminists with inflated egos who want to steal valor. Their ultimate power fantasy is being stronger than men AND be an ultimate object of desire at the same time, that's why female empowerment in media, like netflix twitcher, are so cringy and jarring.

There have been things that women have done during war time, that wasn't fighting on the battlefield, and that was, treating the injured soldiers(nurses), cooking for them, sewing uniforms, preparing ammunition and even working in factories. Now could men do all of these things better than women, maybe, but the difference in skill between men and women when it comes to fighting on the battlefield is much bigger than preparing food, as such it makes more sense to have men do the fighting, and women to sew uniforms.
This example is used more in economics, but it works fine here as well. Imagine a dentist who has to do two things, fix cavities and cleaning up his tools. He can't do both at the same time, and if he is cleaning his tools, he can't treat his patients. One thing brings him money, and one thing keeps him away from getting money(cleaning his tools). As such, he hires someone to clean his tools, while he fixes cavities, and even if the guy who cleans his tools isn't as good as the dentist when it comes to cleaning the tools, it's still more profitable for the dentist to have this guy cleaning his tools, while he can potentially tend to his customers non stop, instead of getting bogged down by having to clean his tools.
The same way, even if a man is better at working in the factory, than a woman, it still makes more sense to have him on the battlefield and the woman at the ammunition depot making bullets for the soldiers.

The issues were ultimately infrastructure-related, sure, but you can expect to have no infrastructure when in a foreign combat zone unless you are lucky. I wish I could find the original expose I read which talked about it. Instead I found a piece about female artillery gunners working in Afghanistan, which is different. Another thing I completely forgot to mention: Pregnancy. In the US Army (and I assume every other army with females in combat), you can elect to leave service immediately if you get pregnant. Imagine, just for a moment, that an infantry unit is depending on artillery for support, and they are unlucky enough to have an artillery unit that is half women, and two of them get pregnant in the same month. Assuming that reinforcements arrive every month or so, that could be a serious detriment to them. Unlikely? Sure, but is the cost of including women really worth it when they make up a tiny, tiny fraction of military personnel, and fitness standards have to be degraded for men?

I didn't say "just infrastructure," I was humoring the guy I replied to because "technically" if you think about it, yes the issue with the trial I was thinking of was that there wasn't enough clean beds for everyone. But that is to be expected in a combat zone so the point is moot. I know there are irrefutable differences between men and women that make women ill-suited for combat compared to men, but I prefer to take a results-oriented approach to issues like these because otherwise you will get slapped with bullshit like "Hurr that study is flawed" or "you're just an incel." I also prefer to approach the issue of women in the military specifically from a logistics standpoint because logistics issues have more recorded and statistical clues and results that are difficult or impossible to refute.

I should have said women in combat zones. I have less issues with women working as support staff in the military, such as medical staff or technicians.
Also, that screen cap you posted is very similar to the expose I was thinking of, but it wasn't delivered from a first-person perspective. Not to tout Hollywood as a source of facts, but remember "Private Pyle's" suicide from Full Metal Jacket? Remember how the bathroom was literally two rows of toilets with no barriers? That's how they train you to not be ashamed of relieving yourself because nobody has time for that shit (literally) in the field. All bodily functions including sleep are minimized in the military. She is wrong about one thing, though: The same interests that want women to serve in combat would also squelch any mentions of female POWs being treated horrifically on mass media.

No, there were a few people who actually returned from gulags. I believe either Nikolai Dmitriyevich Kuznetsov or Valentin Glushko, designers of some high-efficiency rocket engines were sent to a gulag and returned.
But they really are a handful, as opposed to the veritable fucking hundreds of jewnoses who returned from "perilous" death camps.
