What is the "new" master of Orion like? I love master of orion 2, however, I am starting to see it's limitations. Is the new one comparable?

Conquer the Stars is a classic case of flash over substance, if you didn't like Master of Orion 2 for whatever reason then Conquer the Starts is going to be that but more by the numbers in it's execution.
