I haven't read the comics, so I'm not familiar with her outside of the movie. I know that her, the detective one, and the pig felt kind of rushed in the movie, like they were just there for comic relief while Gwen, Peter, and Miles did everything. I also found Gwen kind of annoying, like they were trying too hard to make her seem super cool and tough and all that because every other spider-man in the movie is either a joke character, a fuck-up, or a newbie who can't do anything right.

Miles is just a blank slate while at the same being Peter but black. He's got no character of his own, has deus ex machina powers, and has everything handed to him by everyone.
