First off her in-game design looks like shit. Pic related. It's clear that the (also plagarized) art style is somewhat to blame but to say that her design wasn't intentionally bad is just plain wrong. It's verbotten to make cute girls in western games unless they're lesbians, and even then it's rare.
Then there's her voice acting which is just plain awful. She speaks less like a kid, and more like a 45 year old single mother trying to sound hip to her kid's friends.
And lastly, though I'm not 100% on this because I don't care enough to check, she's voiced by burch's sister so she's a product of nepotism.
A scrappy girl with destructive tendencies and a love for explosions can have a solid fanbase and lots of appeal (see: Megumin) but the western game devs have been poisoned beyond saving to have that happen.

I played the original game through to completion twice but I still cannot stomach to play more than halfway through Borderlands 2. The humour is absolute trash dogshit, and unlike the first one the guns half a shelf life of about 5 minutes rather than a few hours. 99% feel unsatisfying and many of them have stupid gimmicks which are more annoying than fun. It had more environments than the first game, but nothing could make up for the piss poor guns and fart joke tier humour. I am confident this one will be no better.

DOOM - Not the shitty remake. Doom is a classic, and it's countless mods and maps make it forever an immortal title.
C&C Series: Mostly Tib Sun (for atmosphere) and Tib Wars (for gameplay, but disdain for removing some Tib Sun mechanics and it's atmosphere.) Red alert 2/YR is really great, but like most RTS games, I'm hopelessly incompetent in working it out. Still enjoy it though.
SupCom: Again like all RTS games, hopelessly incompitent at it; though the warring factions of the Cybran Nation, UEF, Seraphim and Aeon are well designed and intresting; with a slew of intriguing and endearing characters- Brackman is such a lovable dork. I'd of loved to play the prototype one that was 2D shown off in one of the early PC gamer magazines, looked really cool.

AVP2: Though I never got to play it retail before the servers shut down (RIP sierra), this was an excellently designed asymmetrical FPS game. AVP 2010 is an embarrasment in comparision, especially considering the vast majority of every attack in the game is shitty one-hit kills that aren't even remotely fun, and the wall-walking enduces motion sickness while the camera flops around, despite AVP2 doing it extremely well

Now, don't get me wrong. I actually like the borderlands games, and General Knoxx is one of the best expansions ever made. However, randy being randy, gearbox being gearbox, 2k being 2k, and really shitty humor in the second one, really drags it down. He was the Doppelganger in the DLCquel, and his action skill was to be able to summon holographic duplicates of himself that until Queerbox patched it out, wreck the absolute FUCK out of enemies.
His story was that Jack needed body doubles even before he was king shit of Hyperion, and Tim had volunteered for this due to the high pay for the contract. He would be surgically altered to be Jack for a long period of time, and his (((student loans))) would be paid off.

Queerbox can't code for shit, which is why all of their post-gold patches were to nerf weapon combos into the ground. The most egregious:
Boringlands, Too
Amp shields have an effect, that when the shield is full, the first shot you fire will have bonus damage applied to it. With most shields, this effect diminishes your shield charge by a small amount, and in a few seconds without taking damage, will recharge. The legendary "Bee" shield does not deplete the shield charge when you fire. The amplification damage used to be applied equally to each projectile fired in a single shot. This was tremendously helpful if you used a shotgun that fired many pellets at once. There is a legendary shield called the Conference Call, which fires blasts from the gun itself, and from the left and right of the point of impact, basically making every shot hit three times at once. Combine this with a Bee shield, and you can burn down bosses and enemies in moments. Queerbox elected to make amp shields DIVIDE their bonus damage across all projectiles in each shot, making them almost useless. If you have a Bee shield, and an Infinity pistol, though, the original bonus is retained, as it only fires one shot at a time, but does so rapidly.
Boringlands: The DLCquel
The shit for brains that coded the game added a fun bonus to the Doppelganger's skill "You Have My Shield", in which your holo duplicates would have a copy of the shield you had equipped, with all of its benefits. Another shield type, called roid shields, would add bonus damage to your attacks while the shield was depleted. Well, when your duplicates' shields were depleted, their melee attacks were MULTIPLIED by the amp damage, not added to it. You could run up to an enemy that was beating your ass, pop your duplicates, then step back a bit. When your duplicates' shields were downed, most of their attacks would count as melee, and do extreme damage. Athena's shield-throw ability worked similarly to this. Of course, Queerbox patched this out.
They did a lot of this, constantly. Every time someone found even a minor exploit that didn't even break the game, it would be patched out. Kinda' like the Binding of I Suck, how the faggot in charge of it keeps nerfing everything that keeps the game from feeling like an autistic time sink.

The problem with "billions" of guns is that there's… not a lot of actual true varians. This is why I insist on looking at how DoomRL unto DoomRL Arsenal coupled with DoomRPG. It boils it down to it's barest, and then adds a lot of really neat shit. No story to get in the way if you don't select it for your maps, you can carry your character across multiple saves, there's a lot of diffrent weapons that all feel mostly unique in some way; and those that aren't can normally be loaded with "mod packs" that can be plugged into the weapon [somehow? how do you even do it with some of these things?], and turned into new forms.
This is just DRLA on it's own
Most of borderland's guns are immidiately ditched for a weapon that just has a gimmick, That's great and all, but you just toss the whites, blues, etc away.
Plugging DRLA into DRPG is an incomprehensible eldritch mega-beast of a conversion that; whilst bloated, doesn't suffer from it, but it's confusing until you get the gist and bind a bunch of controls. Once you understand how the game functions, you can fiddle around with a bunch of other things. It would be reccomended to try them separate, but jumping straight in is it's own delight.
DRPG adds a whole bunch of things you'd expect out of a … doom RPG. Levels, generals stats, various abilities, a turret, shop, etc. It's a lot to process. Enemies get a major rework too: they can level, have their own stats, have auras, the like. But running into shadow-class enemies? That's it's own terror.
Combining DRPG with DRLA? You'll find there's just situations you absolutely cannot come out of favorably, no matter how much you try to make a run perfect. It's unpredictable. Playing on full adaptive, and it spawning in enemies? Opening pandora's box and being absolutely gangraped by enemies that baffle the mind?
