Nullpomino is an option. Texmaster is fine too, despite the somewhat bizarre choice of default theme. They can both accurately emulate the gameplay experience of the TGM series, but Nullpomino can do a lot more in terms of gameplay rules.
Barring those, you could try emulating TGM2+ itself, if you can find a way to manage input lag, perhaps with specialized emulators. It's similar to TGM1, but it has more satisfactory dropping mechanics, with "soft dropping" always being in your control. Soft dropping being instantly lowering your piece as low as it goes, but still gives you a little time to move it from there. In TGM1, you only have hard dropping, which instantly locks your piece into place, and similar behavior, that is not locking on contact, only comes into play once the game itself switches into extreme/instant gravity.
TGM3 is a lot more intense and harder to get into. It gives you more piece previews and a little more piece mobility, but really expects you to use them.
