Gender quotas are just the worst shit. I used to work in an assembly plant, and there was a gender quota. We barely ever hired full-time because management were a bunch of kikes who would rather pay 2-3 part timers instead of 1 full timer. But we were perpetually under quota because it turns out most women don't want to spend 8 hours a day assembling cars in a hot, smelly, loud assembly plant. This meant that any woman who applied pretty much automatically got the job. A lot of them couldn't really keep up with the pace on the assembly line so they would inevitably get moved to something else, like forklifts. Then they would crash the forklifts into things because they were texting while driving. Basically they would get bounced around until management either fired them or found something they didn't suck at. Most of the men who get hired just tough it out on the line until they've been there long enough to get an easier job.

Man, this would be interesting fruit to come to fruition, to make an understatement. If Keith is found to have committed domestic abuse, it wouldn't just tank his campaign, it would ripple across the other state-wide elections AND the congressional district seat he vacated to run for attorney general! I wonder if the current AG will actually investigate though, shes a pretty blue Dem and might toe the party line of "delay, obstruction, and double standard".

For those not following along, Minnesota is one of the big, big battleground states for the midterms. BOTH senate spots are up for re-election -- which is very unusual -- and one of these is considered tightly competitive. There was also a bizarre cascade of musical chairs earlier this year where like a dozen MN democrats changed what state and federal offices they wanted to run for after a few candidates withdrew their campaign bids. In that sequence of musical chairs, Keith Ellison (D) abandoned his re-election campaign for his very safe House of Representative seat (I think it is one of the bluest/safest congressional districts in all of Minnesota) because he had a chance to run for a statewide office (Attorney General) after the incumbent AG withdrew her bid to run again.
So if Ellison loses his new statewide campaign (which is VERY POSSIBLE. You see, unlike Ellison's super-blue home district, the state of Minnesota as a whole is purple but merely leans blue, and the polls suddenly became very tight once those domestic abuse allegations hit the media), he's out of the political picture entirely! And frankly, thank god. Keith Ellison is basically a stock, nasty, foaming-at-the-mouth anti-Trump Dem who always seems to appear in headlines that make our country more polarized instead of less. There's a double bonus here too, because if he loses the race then Ellison potentially won't be able to get his old seat back in the future either. (he'd have to run against the incumbent, hah!). Keith Ellison's opponent for state Attorney General, Doug Wardlow (R), is running on an anti-sanctuary, anti-illegal immigration platform. State Attorney General is a key position for fighting sanctuary policies, so Good Luck Wardlow!!!
The congressional seat Ellison vacated has a completely unknown Dem running to replace him. While that district is still very blue and smack in the middle of the metro, it does mean there is -- if nothing else -- a "gambler's chance" of taking it away from the Dems this cycle. The Dem candidate is a Somali immigrant, a hard left socialist, and she advocates that the University of Minnesota divest itself from Israeli-related joint activities.
Meanwhile, the Repub candidate for that district -- another woman -- isn't on the political extremes, is Pro-Israel and looking at her website she openly says, quote:

> We must know who is coming to and who is in our country. We need a policy that works for the American people and our economy as well as for immigrants.
Her webpage continues on to make it clear she is anti-illegal immigration. Her webpage also expresses incredulity that Ellison openly supports ANTIFA (about fucking time more politicans start pointing out the tacit approval of Antifa by elected Dems!) and says, quote:

So that's two anti-border enforcement positions that are potentially up for grabs in Minnesota and could be replaced by pro-border enforcement politicians as a result of an unfolding Ellison scandal. What about the Senate in Minnesota?
The senior Senate position is considered a "very safe seat" in 2018, occupied by the incumbent Amy Klobuchar (D). Her opponent, Jim Newberger (R) is pro-Trump and I assume he is going to be at Trump's upcoming MN rally giving him glowing support and morale but not much else. According to the analysts, actually defeating Klobuchar would require a huge upset. Like, if it happened you can just imagine how salty the Democrats would be over losing this safe Senate seat. But let's imagine for a moment that Amy Klobuchar did lose the race in some kind of unpredictable upset… Well, it would appropriate to forecast that the local liberal reaction would be a microcosm of the 2016 presidental election — Minnesota's renowned "iron range" mines can step aside, as the workers would be too busy working the salt mines by the truckload!
The junior Senate position is special because the only reason it is open this year is due to the previous junior Senator, Al Franken (D), opting to resign after multiple sexual harassment allegations during the height of the #MeToo movement. This Senate race is the one that is considered a toss up.
The Republican candidate is Karin Housley (R) whose webpage lists her stances on the issues (among many other mainstream conservative positions) as: pro-Guns, pro-Military, and "securing the borders while fixing our broken immigration system". Because she is running in a Blue leaning state, her positions in some places are predictably more center-right than a Red State Republican. Like, it's likely she is very pro-Wall on the inside, but that doesn't seem to a vocal part of her campaign from glancing at her website. She does at least have the political courage to say on live TV "I fully support President Trump, I support his policies, and I give his policies an A grade even though I don't always like his style". Good enough for me!
Meanwhile, the Democratic opponent for the junior Senate seat is Tina Smith (D) whose webpage has the most milquetoast lineup of basic "progressive stances" you could possibly imagine. It's ridiculously predictable and mild, just look it up for yourselves: Diversity, Diversity, Diversity, "standing up for LGBTQ families", gun control/action against gun violence, gender pay gap, supporting our veterans, giving resources to tribal communities, protect the environment, protection for dreamers, support the state's arts and culture. Glancing at her page and other search results, my impression is that Tina Smith (D) lacks any overt virulent anti-Trumpism AND she also lacks any hardcore-SJW bonafides (despite reliably being on the SJW side of these issues). She is just a standard deck of 52 mild progressive positions and a few uncontroversial centrist or conservative positions.
To recap: Karin Housley is one of the most vocal voices about Ellison's allegations, as she is out there asking for the state AG to conduct an investigation. So if Karin Housley can win the Senate, then that would be a third potential pro-border politician pickup, just from the ripples of a potential Ellison fallout! This is not counting the rural seats the Republican party was already planning to win or flip at the start of the year. This is just what could happen with the help of Keith Ellison being investigated and potentially found guilty of domestic abuse.

1. No because most people don't care. And they especially don't care when – like you said – there are no reports, controversies or testimonies coming out. "Professional reviews" are somewhat of a lie to begin with, in the sense that they don't purport to be a 100% honest, scrupulous account of the reviewer's ACTUAL individual experience, with all their personal quirks and preferences that necessarily entails. Rather, "Professional reviews" are supposed to skew towards "broad" and "universal" judgements (because that's what makes a professional review useful to enough people to be commercially valuable). This means skewing away from any highly subjective or highly individual experiences that the reviewer genuinely felt while reviewing the game (genuine or not, if the feeling doesn't generalize to enough people, then it doesn't make commercial sense to allow it to affect the review score and/or mention those feelings in the review text).
2. Yes, because fuck everything in 1. Let everyone do reviews how they want, and give their unfiltered individual experience. Some percent of individuals are genuinely like Heather Alexandra, and without any external forces their mind will wander into thoughts about developer working conditions while playing big, content filled games. Some percent of individuals won't. (I Imagine most are the latter). So in this world, some reviews would include stuff like working condition speculations, others won't. Some reviews would praise Bayonetta for being sexually attractive, good fap material, and speculate if she is Kamiya's ideal waifu (probably), other reviewers would only be interested in the mechanical appeal of the fighting system and limit themselves to writing about that. In this world, "a review" is up to the individual and what matters to them, not what universalizes to 10 or 20 million other gamers who aren't them.
I can extend this line of reasoning further to make some interesting observations about the limitations of reviews in general. According to metacritic, The Last of Us Remastered is one of the best PS4 games (metacritic score of 95), and it is the system's best exclusive (it is only beaten by GTAV). But there are like 80 million PS4s while TLOU has only sold around 17 million copies across BOTH systems (PS3+PS4). To me, that says there – at minimum – tens of millions of people that would give TLOU a review score of "zero" if forced (0 = "would not want to play to completion ever" or "given 100 PS4 games, I could pick 99 that I would want to play before playing TLOU). Why is it so easy to make this claim? Well, mathematically over 60 million PS4 owners did not buy the game. Probably because it didn't interest them, it wasn't a genre they enjoy, or maybe they simply they checked out reviews/demos/videos of the game and felt it wasn't worth their time. Admittedly, some of these 60 million just haven't had the chance to play it yet. But at some level, the market is revealing a truth that isn't being widely represented.
Like, if you look around the internet, you don't find many "zero review scores" being given to TLOU, do you? This is a discrepancy between reality (i.e., the "true" review score distribution across all PS4 owners if you forced them to review the game) and what is presented to us (all internet reviews that actually come into fruition). There are some very negative user reviews of TLOU out there, but I'd bet there is nary a single bad review among professional reviewers. This makes sense, because you have to play a game before you even consider reviewing it and assigning it a score. And the people who would give TLOU a zero if forced are unlikely to buy the game in the first place. As for why there are no negative professional reviews, well you don't even get assigned to do the review by your outlet if you outright dislike the game's genre or expect the game to be boring, and then this compounds with the issue raised in 1.

Do they really make a loss or is it another one of their tax dodges? Google's European branch officially makes a huge loss for example. Regardless of that youtube itself may make a loss but the data it gathers makes a profit when slotted into their entire system.
It's also a matter of tactics: 'losing' 4chan in order to flood 8chan with the same users is well worth the cost since they'd still have control over the largest imageboard either Jim is forced out by higher server costs and a hugely attractive offer or they control so much of the userbase it's just their echo chamber anyway and they'd have wiped out an uncontrolled alternative. There are three movies two anime movies with are great although the plot for the second one can get fucking confusing at times and is one of the few times japs seemed to do CGI well, and then there's the (((hollywood))) one which I haven't seen and most likely never will, there's also a few video games but I've only played the PS1 and PSP games which are alright.
Oh and there's also a sequel to gits called Appleseed it only has a manga and a four movies but again both take place in their own universes still a good watch if you really liked gits.

Heck, Kavanaugh is probably the best supreme court nominee any conservative president will have in the next decade. And it doesn't matter anyway. If Kav is put to a vote before the midterms (as is expected), the shitshow the Senate Dems pulled makes it easy to forecast that they will continue to vote down every last one of Trump's Supreme Court nominees AND since they would hold the majority number votes, they won't even have to manufacture a new circus show each time!! (It would be a quick, simple vote totally in accordance with the Senate rules and respect for due process and Senate procedures. If the Dems control the House, those scheduled hearings don't take place. They just get canceled — again that's the constitutional power vested into the House — and these matters are never brought up again.

First off, you seem a bit confused at the end there about the word 'touhou'.

1. In the game "Embodiment of Scarlet Devil" an unnatural scarlet mist appears without warning and covers much of the land, and when you reach the final boss you figure out it is the work of a vampire causing trouble, so you defeat her.
2. In the game "Perfect Cherry Blossom", the winter is unnaturally continuing without spring coming to change the season. When you reach the end of the game you discover that the antagonist has been stealing the essence of spring in order to bring a magic youkai cherry tree into full bloom (for their own ends, in other words), which you then stop and bring spring back.

This is the hardest part to explain. The cut scenes / text boxes you get from playing the game only establish very basic personality traits and motivations for the characters. It almost entirely to the credit of the fan community that fleshes out the skeleton of the characters and their personalities by creating comics, fan art, full manga stories, and even fan made games with their own plotlines. Because ZUN has a very hands off approach to fan creations, the Touhou series got lucky and took off like a rocket. Remixes of Touhou music, while not fleshing out the characters/world per se, is also extraordinary popular and shared widely.
