If you go to college, go to a community college and get an AA or AS degree, associate in arts or associate in science. From there you can and should transfer to your state college and get a full education and land a job that pays well above associates degree range.
Going to a college within your state is MUCH cheaper then going out of state in most cases, and privitized colleges will milk you dry for very little return. Don't get a degree in social studies, get one that's pratical. You can be a carpenter or a programmer or anything in between, always go into hard sciences and needed services if you want money. There's not enough plumbers, not enough repairmen, not enough programmers, not enough in any practical sciences.
Fill those niches and money awaits. But before you pick a major find out what's needed first, look at job sites and what people are saying.

It starts off that way but it eventually evolves into something else, the later series introducing the concept of Stands, which are effectively very very specific magic powers that are normally unique to each character. At that point, it becomes a bunch of buff wizards using their incredibly specific powers to try and outmatch each other. The fact that Stand powers can manifest as literally fucking anything means you don't really want for variety while watching parts 3 and 4 as well, one scenario has the protagonists wagering their souls on games of chance, another has characters trying to commit a serious felony by turning in someone else's winning lottery ticket, and using their powers to get around the authority figure trying to prove that the ticket is stolen, another has one of the protagonists fighting against a battalion of tiny plastic soldiers, yet another revolves around the mystery of an abandoned ghost ship found adrift at sea. Almost every episode has a unique angle.

Teen Titans didn't take its animation seriously, and this is not a complaint nor is it a statement that should indicate any amount of inferiority to things that take themselves seriously.
