I got my Super Nintendo for Christmas in 1993 and still have it plugged up to this day playing it. It was a lot of fun and I know the feeling. I somewhat like the fact retro games has emerged somewhat but at the same time I really hate it because of such a mass amount of inflation with the prices due to all these "hipster fags" who will go and massively buy up so many games just for a shelf for their social media status, etc. Then they'll never even spend any time playing the games or enjoying them whatsoever just to collect dust and ruin at their idiotic hands. For people who actually lived the era I don't mind. That was our childhoods, they honestly deep down don't give a shit and would rather spend time playing current gen crap because it's trendy. They make me fucking sick. If I seem a little crazy with that I apologize. Thanks as well anon, may we find comfort in good memories.

It's not, you could collect data for fucks sake, at least then you could share it. By making old technology a collector thing you cause the prices to get fucked up, people break copies of the product to make its worth go up, hoard it, all it does is make something that used to be fun to do as a throwaway hobby utterly worthless due to the price admission. It breaks my heart.

My first game was Tempest, coin op version. Played it before we got an Atari VCS. Not really a lot to pick from in the very early eighties. First game that was exclusively for me, was Tomcat: The F-14 Flight Simulator for the Atari VCS.

"Jeep and Helicopter" is Silkworm. Firepower 2000 for the SNES is one of its sequels.

Sounds like RPM Racing to me, as well. Like a shitty copy of Rock 'n Roll Racing.

I have that very same Pong system, and its box, on my desk. The video quality is kinda' ass. Likely capacitors failing, as all of the bars and blocks have streaky edges on the display.

Yeah, actually the Heart Attack minigame from Newman's Reign reminds me a bit of the Two Headed Boy fight from this classic. Something about the timing and the rhythm of the button presses seems really similar.

The GBA Version did, and that's what I had. It was best game.
