 No.87552

Yesterday I was helping a friend set up Dropbox on his Mac, and he asked me if it’s safe to use third-party apps instead of just sticking to the official Dropbox app or the web version. That question stuck in my head because I’ve also thought about trying alternative tools to manage cloud files more удобно. At the same time, I don’t want to risk my account or personal data just for convenience. I know macOS apps often have their own security approaches, but I’m not fully sure how reliable they are. So I’m curious what others think about using external Dropbox clients on Mac.
