Hey y’all, I just read this blog about the best Mexican food in Austin, and it’s got me hungry! They mentioned places like Nixta Taqueria and Suerte. Has anyone tried Nixta’s duck carnitas taco? The blog made it sound unreal, but I’m curious if it lives up to the hype. Also, any other spots in Austin you’d add to their list?

Just checked out a great article on Loca.us about Austin https://loca.us/blog/best-mexican-food-in-austin, top Mexican food spots, and I totally agree with their picks! Places like Suerte and Nixta Taqueria are killing it with fresh, bold flavours—think handmade tortillas and killer barbacoa. I’d add El Alma to the list for their unreal ceviche and rooftop vibes. Austin’s Mexican scene is next-level, blending traditional and modern like nowhere else. What’s your go-to spot?
