i can't really help you there, but i can make a suggestion for a vpn you should use (sorry if i sound like a shill). protonvpn is free, doesn't log user data, doesn't sell your data to third parties, and the services protonvpn provides are protected by swiss privacy laws (the company operates in switzerland).

they offer free premium for 7 days, which provides you with a 'secure core' which routes your internet traffic through privacy friendly countries, like switzerland and iceland, before connecting you to the server of your choosing.

not sure if it still works, but I used to have a dedicated IP address with TorGuard and it worked on mook's website. It was 4 a month in addition to 9/mo for the standard VPN. Maybe a bit of a ripoff compared to others but it worked well for me.
