(I'm assuming all of you are caught up on the show)

The show mentioned religion a few times, and how if they talked about if the season maidens were revealed It'd go against religion, and everyone would panic and all of that.

Ignoring all of that, what religion *is* there in remnant? Cause I haven't seen it, at least in the shows, Unless I just blanked out half of the series or something.

RT or, specifically, the goddamned and godawful writers conflated spirituality and spiritual beliefs with religion itself. There are no churches in Remnant, only a mythological cosmology.

It's a low-effort attempt, and I can't even be bothered to think about it because, for one, the lore itself is shitty and, two, I don't even know it gets itself together the more they reveal about it.

No, man. That's the perfect set-up for a world who doesn't understand religion.

Well, not necessarily, It's just that I got my hopes up that religion would play a big part in the story, and with it being implied that Remnant is going for World War 2, that'd be a justification a kingdom would use for one kingdom or so.

And plus with Qrow and his cross, there'd be zealot type hunters as well…

But knowing the writing team It's probably for the best that they didn't go down this route cause I know they'd mess things up.
