I read some guys essay that pretty much summed up the commies as failed elites. they are educated enough for something in theory but lack the practical expertise or they lack the killer instinct or the competence to actually be the leaders they would like to be. so they fantasize their eintire lives about how wonderful the world would be if they were in charge of everything. then of course everyone ends in poverty.

A guy argued that after a country produces enough of these failed elites there inevitably happens a revolution or attempt at taking over the government by said failed elites because they feel like they are not getting what they deserve for being so oh so smart.
