I live just across the river from NYC. Last time I heard anything about Lisa Banes, she was on the local news channel raising a big fuss about some lame bullshit about misappropriated money that was meant to fund the enforcement of local NYC safety helmet laws for children ages 3 - 6, and she claimed Bill de Blasio's Office mismanaged the money and spend it on personal expenses.
And I remember something about some little kid named Billy who was furious about wearing the helmet. Yeah.. but that's the last time I remember seeing anything about her until this happened.
