Something I've always wondered about that movie (..but not enough to actually watch it)
...the Australian Queer scene back in the 1980s had distinct "Crossdresser" idea, where a queer lifestyle didn't mean religious-level adherence to GENDOR FEORY like today's LGBTQ++- Cult. Crossdressers then just accepted they were roleplaying & acting as a peculiar style of Woman ideal-- and afterwards, took of the wig, played Footy, drank beer at the (straight) Pub, and voted Conservative.
Yet anyone who presents themselves in a dress today for shits and gigs gets the YOU WILL IDENTIFY AS FEMALE GENDER OR WE WILL HARASS CONSTANTLY by the Imperialist Identity Cult.
So wouldn't this movie be seen as severe Apostasy?
