Photography by certified artists (or people who can pass themselves off as such) is 100% legal. Examples

"Evidence of Things Unseen" by Simen Johan

"Dressup: Playacts and fantasies of childhood" by Starr Ockenga

"The Boy: A Photographic Essay" by Georges St. Martin

"Boys Will Be Boys" by Georges St. Martin

"In Search of Young Beauty: A Venture Into Photographic art" by Charles Du Bois Hodges

Other than artistic illustrated books, you also have nudist magazines which are also legal. As for drawings, 3DPD and written literature, that is legal so long as it is non-obscene. So in other words, it's hard to really determine what would classify as such and it falls into a legal grey area category, making it borderline illegal. As for photoshopping children's heads onto that of adults in sexual situations, that too is also illegal.

So to any American pedos who want to know their CP law, there you go.

Well, if you care about your livelihood, always remember the legality. If it's not something you're supposed to access and could wind you behind bars for life, I'd recommend not looking at it.

Drawn CP is illegal (see the Dwight Whorley and Christopher Handley cases, the banned release of Kodomo no Jikan in the US and the manga Demon Beast Invasion: The Fallen being deemed legally obscene in Texas) and so is written literature (see the Karen Fletcher, Phillip Greaves and Frank McCoy cases). It could be legal under certain circumstances, so long as it is non-obscene, but that alone is hard to discern. CP laws in the United States use the Dost factors to define child pornography, although it is not absolute, because you also have clothed pictures that are also considered under that umbrella, as well as pictures that wouldn't be considered CP in themselves but could be given the context and interpretation of a judge. Anything goes basically.

Yesterday, it was CP, today it's lolicon, tomorrow it'll be memes considered hate speech. Your freedoms dwindle because the majority believe that their beliefs are correct, and that they should be forced onto others.

Whether something is considered legal or not in this case is subjective and depends almost entirely on a judge. In other words, you'd have to convince a judge, a person who receives deceptive pleas on a daily basis, that you're someone you're not.

However, the important thing isn't whether you can get away with having your own stash or not. You already lose because you have to censor yourself and hide your own property despite having done nothing wrong. You're already a victim.

There are many people who are victimized simply because the majority of people don't like them and because they are powerless. If you muster up enough courage to give people a reason not to like you, then you cease to be a victim. That's what a successful witch does, even if the witch is burned at the stake in the end.

They made the punishment worse than actually going out and raping a kid because they know fear mongering is all they have to stop people from looking at it. Seeing what they don't want you to see is a lot less scary when you know just how incapable they are of stopping you.
