In 2017, Unite the Right sent shockwaves across the world and sparked international outrage. A year later during the midterms, white nationalists ran for local, state and national offices across the US. And in 2020, they're sabotaging rallies, such as a Jan. 21st gun rally in Virginia and now the George Floyd protests in Minneapolis (see Umbrella Man), to start a race war. And so far, they've been quite successful in getting what they want.
So my question is, how does such a small, fringe minority hold so much power, strength and influence in American politics?
